Just to clarify, this vid was recorded BEFORE the Iron hands changes that I've gone into here... kzread.info/dash/bejne/dGmuvMOlmtjIcso.html Feirros no longer provides vehicles a 5++, and can't heal them for 6 wounds, and the ironstone has been toned down (though the stormraven is a good choice to use it on still...)

As a Blood Angel still bitter we had to share our toys but regular space marines didn’t reciprocate. I always wanted to run assault cents

Ok, this may sound strange but personally I like to make my troop choices based on the amount of transports that I have. Storm Ravens are a auto include when ever I have a dreadnought or centurions on the field. It makes for one juice target, and a useful distraction and if they survive they get the slow movers where they need to go.

I just bought one of these to put some close combat terminators, a terminator Chaplin, and a dreadnought on to drop right into battle

Great idea! I am seriously thinking of getting one for same reason, wondering if iron clad or Venerable chaplin dread would be a good choice....maybe 5 terminators, an apothecary an ancient and Chappie dread? or termies, Chaplin, lieutenant and an iron clad? Brutal close combat and the storm ravens guns right into the heart of the enemy's lines !

The boosted doctrine for the imperial fists is +1 damage to vehicles and buildings on heavy weapons in the Devastator Doctrine

Yeah, I wasn't certain about that at the time of recording the video, comes from recording things a week in advance haha. Cheers for pointing it out to update others though :)

I think it would be fun (with your admission of owning said model) to see your models as examples sometimes... great video!

I was like including the techmarine inside the storm Raven whether I'm using the rest of the transport capacity or not. that way he can repair the storm Raven as it's flying. around

not sure but i dont think characters can use abilities while embarked, i know characters cant use aura ability while inside transport.

@@alphariusomegon281 tech marines can repair any vehicle they are embarked in or any vehicle they are standing next to but not both.

This plane carry entire Baal Predator's firepower and ability to cause pain in 2 turn aka 2 early chapter doctrines

*was about to ask if you would ever do Xenos codex* *Mentions only good Xenos is one shot up* Ok.... nevermind. But yeah I REALLY want to use this bad boy especially since it use to be a Blood Angels only thing. Unfortunately I feel like I'm bringing something unnecessary when alot of my units can deep strike in or can't even rise in it (Ugh! Primaris).

@@auspextactics I have a Craftworld army. Mostly Aspect Warriors because favorite part of the army. Want to play them as either Biel Tan or Ulthwe (because Eldrad).

Stormraven is actually the pinacle of playing Blood Angels Dreadnought and 2 battalions list players

I'm taking multi melta in the nose now that they are d6 +2 at half range.

Totally not loading 2 of these with 2 sqauds of BA death company vanguard vets and a terminator chaplain along with a dread in each a piece and blitzing the enemy while blasting their biggest firepower into oblivion with a knight castellan. Why would I ever do that?🤣🤣🤣

@@howardsmith9747 Yes, that is correct - when the target is at half range, a vehicle's rapid fire weapons can fire double, but that is the only circumstance in which they can.

my Stormravens have always been disappointing. I stopped using them.

While the feirros and ironstone bubble was a thing, my current comp tourney list got rolled by a list containing stormravens and I was surprised haha
