They are nuts. This is from When David Coverdale joined the band before he did whitesnake. I would suggest giving ‘machine head’ a listen, prob my fav album and has Ian Gillan on vocals.

Deep purple are the tightest, most creative and technically proficient of all their contemporaries. I rate them higher than black Sabbath and led zep.

Hell yeah brother!!! Kick ass! I loved how you handled the voices on this one. It's my favorite singer duo (maybe next to Alice in Chains), the way Coverdale and Hughes worked their voices together is just magical and you brought it home! They've got many awesome tunes to be covered, Gypsy, Might Just Take Your Life, Hold On... And yeah, Voya really did great, I'm gonna check out his stuff too :)

This is an _amazing_ cover, Steve. I feel like Deep Purple doesn't usually get the love they deserve and even when they do, covers don't usually do them justice. This one was damn near perfect.
