In 1997 I turned 25, I was broke, sofa surfing,, had no job, I didn't even have a bank account. I lived in an unfurnished flat on the edge of Liverpool trying to stay out of trouble. I had a fridge a mattress and a Hitachi Superwoofer Cassette Player and 11 D&B tapes (among others) These tunes kept my head together, kept me calm, optimistic and patient and confident that better days would come. These tunes took me to a great place without the drugs. Today, I live in Surrey, my kids are in Uni, I have my own small business, I am a published writer, a commissioned artist and a specist project manager. Hearing these tunes reminds me how far I have come, to stay humble, to never disconnect from the beauty of late 90s D&B and never forget the days I wished for all the things I have now. Not only does D&B take to a place of amazing social memories, but it also takes to a place of solitude and humility. The D&B of 1995-1998 always sounds like a spiritual journey to me and a shameless display of electronic musical production in a style that transcends time and never sounds dated (like almost everything else does)

I can't believe I just scooped this so up quickly. Halls of residence, University of North London, Market Rd, late 90’s, SNES sessions. Tower Records, Piccadilly Circus. Ahhhhhh... 😌
OMG, i bought this CD when I was 20 years old, just moved to Phoenix AZ and drum & bass was life. This was the soundtrack of my life. ❤
You guys had it good in the 90's I'm 16 and have truly found a goldmine, what an era for dnb.

You are fortunate. A lot of people miss things. Keep exploring and you will keep finding gems like this when you are 50 years old. Listen to Dnb...Hell listen to blues, ska, classical, electronic, indie, rap... anything... it is weird sometimes I listen to D&B and hear a sample and then I find the original...and say damn that's good... all the very best

had a real love for this stuff from 90 to 96 , after this i felt everything sounded a little samey, still excellent vibes but the creative stand out jungle had died by this point, the remenants of a fragmented genre were left in my mind only to be awoken by modern worlds excuse for reset 25 years on .respect for posting ... keep up the good work .... keeping the vjbe alive !!!
was 17 when this came out........still twatting it out 23 years later at 40 years of age! The 90's was a vintage era for D&B....

That's the tracklist as statd on the cover and labels, but I'm afraid it's not accurate. A few tracks are switched around, e.g. Sunset Phobia is actually on the E-side. As these are exclusive tracks it doesn't matter that much, unless you're looking for individual videos or they appear in mixes, then in might be confusing
The 90s were a magical time for us all. I was a spry 75 years old when I first heard this ear orgasm of a record in '94. I loaded it into my Gramaphone and started cranking. The doctor said that my 2 stepping and shuffling to this track has helped fend off late onset Parkinsons. I'll never remember those days again....
