Ho. Ly. Shit. Despite not living through the '90s (was born in 2003), this transported me STRAIGHT back to being 4 or 5 years old. This is just really incredible. A bunch of these images radiate my childhood memories; I picture myself watching my older brother and cousin play Halo at 1am on New Years, I remember the computer generated images in my encyclopedia of landscapes and dinosaurs, and I think of all the crappy 2000's-futurism themed music videos for popular songs at the time with their shiny silver makeup and outifts, wacky, low-res visuals in the background of aliens dancing or spaceships flying. Those early years of the internet saw huge innovation in technology and connectivity, and I feel like that really unique atmosphere gave birth to ideas, themes, and styles that you just don't see today. A truly fantastic time. But a time that we can only return to through music and visuals like these.

Most of my personal friends have various music tastes but none of them seem capture the same feeling I do when I listen to music such as this. Probably the same goes for a lot of people invested in their own music selection. I love all genres (rock, metal, electro, house, reggae, etc) but this seems to take me to a place where it feels like I’ve been before and never been before. A strange feeling filled with nostalgia. This is pretty much the pinnacle of Intelligent ''Stratospheric'' DnB! Simon and Dave outdone themselves on this one! It's a shame that Phatt Phunk neglected that release. There were supposed to be a 3 x LP coming. But unfortunately, nothing came out of it. There were only a couple of extremely rare Test-Presses seen in the wild back in the early 2000's. @ I just got done wrapping up all the files for my Dreamcast's GDEMU after an ever more difficult console project of installing the DCDigital and re-capping the power unit. It was expensive. It was worrisome. But I did it. My work wasn't completely pretty... but with a new proper soldering station, general equipment that I needed, and a very handy magnifying glass, I managed to install everything correctly with only a few bumps along the way! Coming back to this song gave me all the hope and determination I needed... Never give up what you love!
The 90s......what a time to be alive. Music came alive back then and put the hairs on my neck up. I can't remember the last time that happened.

This is the mix that got me into atmospheric DnB when YT recommended it to me a little over two years ago. Now I have a solid collection of old school Jungle and DnB mixes/singles from GLR, Moving Shadow, !K7, Higher Limits, etc. Big Bud and Aural Imbalance remain my absolute favorites. Seems like there is always a new track or banger mix to snatch up I didn't know about before, and some of the stuff I've imported isn't even on YT let alone streaming services, so it's awesome to be able to discover new tracks like back in the day before the mainstream internet. I love throwing a CD on the Hi-Fi at night and letting my worries wash away. This music has even led me to other new genres I hadn't listened to before, primarily actual Jazz music which I'm loving as well. Thanks forever to Ambiance for these uploads and inspiring me to completely shift my music taste to something completely new and fresh. Hope this one gets a re-release someday.

Same dude, I was 4 when this was released.
Your channel is all I wanted to know about music when I was 20 years old... And still.
Thank you for posting this GEM!
Amazing!!!
Got to love those digital synthesizer pads. Expertly crafted dynamics on the breakbeats too. The graphics look like the product of the veteran 3D rendering program Bryce.
