I never played Mortal Kombat and have no clue what it is about even though I've heard of the name a million times. I just watched a video. It must be the newest game. It is a lot of fighting and every so often some dialogue. Then I watched a video of the history of Mortal Kombat. Wow. This game is very complicated as is this figure. The sculpting on the head is indeed cool (more raised features). I can see why people would love the game. It is action packed!!! :-) I think you would need a tutorial to understand the game in its entirety.

The Mortal Kombat franchise started off in the 90’s with its first game, and it didn’ take long before the game got banned in most countries across the world due to its violent nature. In short, the story is about a tournament between realms where the winner gets the chanse to merge his/her realm with the losing realm if that realm wins 10 tournaments in a row. A realm called Outworld have won 9 tournaments and the 10th victory meens the end of out realm, Earthrealm. In the tournament the combatants fight to the death, thus the name Mortal Kombat. In the world of Mortal Kombat there are alot of very interesting characters. The one in this video is called Noob Saibot. He was a chinese ninja in a clan called the Lin Kuei, and his name was Bi Han (formerly known as Sub-Zero). Sub-Zero assassinated the ninja Hanzo Hasashi (also known as Scorpion) and his entire clan the Shirai Ryu, including Hanzos wife and child. When Hanzo died he ended up in the realm called the Neatherrealm, where he was resurrected as the ninja spectre Scorpion by the sorcerer Quan Chi. Scorpion was seeking revenge on the one that had killed his clan and family, so he hunted down Sub-Zero and killed him. Bi Han also ended up in the Neatherrealm and Quan Chi transformed and resurrected Bi Han and turned him into Noob Saibot. Bi Han was the older brother of another Lin Kuei ninja called Kuai Liang, which after his older brothers death took over the mantle as Sub-Zero. The way to spot the difference between Bi Han and Kuai Liang is to look at which Sub-Zero that has a scar across his right eye. The one with the scar is Kuai Liang.

In hand the figure looks absolutely awesome, buddy. A bit sad that my camera can’t catch the details all that good due to the poor lights I have. Not that easy to do when the entire figure is nothing but black either though 😅 Everything on the figure and the accessories are sculpted very well. The problem I have with the accessories are that the effects are a bit too heavy and made of hard plastic. Its a high risk of scraping off paint on the hands and the weapon when using the effect parts. The one for the weapon is a particulary one to be cautious about. Its just a poor choise of method to attach the effect piece using hard plastic that basicly have «claws» at the insert point. I also think that the effect parts for the hands should have been hollow or not that big. Way too much weight for the wristpegs to support. Same with the weapon effect. Too big and heavy for the wrists to support all that weight. Other than that the figure itself is freakin’ awesome, in my opinion.

Thats would be awesome, but I highly doubt it. I think these are the only MK11 figures we’ll get from Storm. I’ve heard rumors that we might be getting 1/6th scale MK figures from the recent live action movie.

This costume design could look good on a woman's body.

Yes it would. Im pretty sure that I have seen something very similar on eBay a couple of years ago.

A big disappoint to me, the face-mask is exactly the same as Scorpion's mask. A company should not be so lazy to make new. Noob Saibot mask is iconic, is very different from Scorpion's mask. Original Noob Saibot mask should be with this amazing figure.
