Went to forbidden planet with a friend and saw this dude staring me down when I walked in. Walked around for an hour or so, looking at comics and by the end of the trip, i decided I couldn't leave without him. Bought him and now I'm hooked on storm collectibles.

I remember coloring my ryu figure with a marker as a kid for a beard. Seeing this makes me happy.

Good review. If someone named Ryu really was a traveling street fighter battling for money, he'd probably look like this.

This should have been his default look.

I got this figure today and I am super glad with it. It cost me the painful amount of 152 US dollars (the economy in my country is a mess), but I don't care. It is an amazing figure. It made my brother finally decide to collect the MK storm collectibles figures and I will buy the SF ones. Thanks for the review man. I'm a little more happy with this figure in my hands

so every storm collectibles you see and you review is great. but next time you should make a size comparison to the other figures.

Just got mine! Love it although the right leg pops off a bit too much. Great figure though. Can’t wait to get the original ryu

Has anyone found a good leg replacement for him? I love him as a statue but for playing with, his legs are kinda tedious to move and it’s starting to wear on the part of the leg that the ball snaps into. I feel like his upper half could be popped into another figure easily

I think I would prefer if the ab crunch was a little lower like right under the first set of abs instead of the pecs but that's honestly a minor thing and it still looks amazing.

Nice review Anthony. Just a little correction the electricity is not for the ex, that's his v trigger.

That is what I heard someone called it and I thought it sound fitting I didn't know

is the head (neck) articulation as good as ken's?

It's a pretty solid figure, not going to lie. The only issue I had with it is that his skintone varies from my regular Storm Collectibles Ryu (I actually have the brown variant). So he looks really weird when I try to swap their heads.

That Ryu would make a good punisher custom figure!!!

Anyone else having major issues with this "hot" Ryu legs? I cant get the legs to even stay on its terrible.

It's a community name Capcom adapted during a reveal.

Hot ryu aged horribly for a storm figure. Seems to only be good on the sculpt but man the legs are atrocious the right knee joint fucking broke out of packaging
