This was my favorite duo in the comics I hope they link up in the movies

I remember reading an X-Men comic when I was a kid where Storm was so excited over the idea of being the mutant inventor Forge's wife then elsewhere Mystique was losing her mind after so many years of shapeshifting into other people and came to Xavier's mansion seeking help but pissed off Bishop when she transformed into an old comrade of his named Randall who was a soldier like Bishop from the future who had died fulfilling his duty and as Randall tried to blame Bishop for his death so Forge had to intervene and remind him that she was mentally ill and needed the X-Men's help then after conversing with Jean Grey and trying to get her to tell him if Storm really loved him Jean couldn't say since she felt it wasn't her place to so that evening when Storm arrived back at the mansion she was shocked to learn Forge was leaving the school with Mystique so he could help her get her sanity back and because he felt she would never wanna leave the X-Men behind or her responsibilities to the preservation of the professor's dream and that she would never be happy with him and at the end of the comic as he walked away he said "I was going to ask you to marry me Ororo I realize that'll never happen" and Ororo knelt down on the floor and said to herself through tearful eyes "I was going to say yes" I always felt like Marvel does both their male and female heroes dirty when it comes to their love lives like DAMN MARVEL give your characters a break for cryin' out loud!!

Marvel has purposely destroyed or messed up just about every romantic couple in the Marvel Universe. That's not a Storm and Black Panther problem, that's a Marvel Editorial problem. Let's not forget that this is the same company that erased Peter Parker's 20-year marriage to Mary Jane Watson.
