What my opinion which is a fact, In 2016,We had the best coach Stpehen Containe and best players like Sunil Chettri,Jingan,J.J where are ranking boosted from 173 to 93 and after 2018 where Sunil Chettri fighted against our best coach Stephen and he was forced to quit and India's downfall started,and only started winning against Saff cup and losing against best team and winning against minnows.

Bro I am a national player back in 2016 from Chhattisgarh. The coaches from grassroots don't have any knowledge about weight training, diet and physio. From grassroots we need to have good facilities for all players even for district level players. They used to say eat like a horse and play like a horse. All we ate was rice, dal, chapati, bread and jam. f*ckin "jam". Non veg only available for nights and morning, and no player can take more than 2 pieces eggs at morning and 2 pieces of chicken at night. I started from Raipur district which is the capital. The football chairman of Raipur is one man for 30 years, his name is "Mushtaq Ali Pradhan". He used to abuse players literally. 12-17 year old players were getting abused by a 40 year old adult. Curse words of mother etc.... He don't take fees, he want something like Guru Dakshina. The players use to clean and arrange everything for ground. And the ground was shithole anyway, so many ditches even a good player won't play properly. The chairman think himself as a Guru Dronacharya. WE ARE PLAYERS NOT LABOURS. The cleaning and arranging is job of other people not players. He said its part of discipline and he abuse who don't do it. So many Healthy players from good family background quit playing because of this treatment. The chairman was coach himself. He think he is doing a favour to everyone like a Godfather or something. He has many so called "Chele" for some reason, who still sucks him d**k hard and dry. Another amazing story, we were going for nationals for Ambala, Haryana. And it was 1and a half day train trip. And we got our reservations after one day. We f*ckin travel at passenger seats, even slept there.

Went to watch the game yesterday. The atmosphere was electric. The attendance for the game was 59,000. There were multiples tifos for chhetri hung all around the stadium. The crowd was extremely verbal. we didn't stop chanting till the final whistle. No one left even after chhetri did his walk around the stadium. For more than 2 hours, we changed "chhetri chhetri" or "India India" and even sang "vande maataram". VIPs, politicans, actors and other important people were all present in the VIP box of the stadium. Let NO ONE say that Indian team doesn't have fans to support them.

BC backline ko clearly dikh nahi raha wingers khule pade hai.. jab tak 8-10 sec mai voh pass karte bhi tab tak kuwait ke players aa rahe.. mai toh kehta hun yeh failed crop hai, if they do not start working in grassroot scouting, coaching.. agle 50 saal mai bhi kuch nahi ukhadege yeh.

Captain chhetri deserved a better farewell! This match was disastrous, the players are worse and overrated, reserve teams of many clubs of India has better touches and better passing quality than the current national players.

There are basically no youth-based league which has direct entry into the ISL, I-league or the national team for that matter. It's a systematic problem that has been going on since the 70s. It's too easy to blame the coach or the player. but that's not the problem. India me certified coaches sirf 14 hain. Infrastructure to chhoro, AIFF ke upper managements lacs-crores me kmate h. for what? I'm a bengali, and I've seen how the system affects the players first-hand. Boycotting is not the solution. Investing in youth leages is. Stimac ne bhi yhi bola tha and I agree with him that if the country is not producing pro-quality players who are 15-16, there's no way that the national team can improve. The recent promises made by AIFF regarding vision 2047 is something to look forward to, but jb tk upper management me sudhaar nhi hota, nothing can happen.
