Apple lost the tablet war some two years ago. Have been using the Samsung Tab S series ever since...

Thanks for another informative comparison. I have an iPad 10 that I use mainly for content consumption and light gaming. I'm impressed with the picture and sound quality, and I don't use a pen so the lack of lamination has never been an issue. I recently purchased a 3rd party keyboard/cover combo and the 10 is a decent "almost" laptop when I travel.

Only thing that make me buy another iPad is the Longevity of the device. My old iPad Air 2 from 2014 received updates till 2023 and still works like a charm. It was slim but still took abuse like a champ. This kind of OS support from apple really offset high cost or less features. So it’s apple for me as far as tablets are concerned. Btw, nice comparison.

Android tablets are way more capable than iPads but the only reason I got the iPad is : 1. I Prefer the form factor when holding it In portrait mode compared to android tablets which is too tall

Amazing! It’s incredible how KZread can connect people from around the world.

The comparison is as good as usual but it does not give the appropriate importance to the RAM difference. And I talk by experience. Having double the RAM make a huge difference in terms of apps and tabs reloading and the 4GB on the iPad 10 don't make it, in my opinion, as future-proof as claimed. I have both a 4GB RAM iPad and a S7FE (similar performance) with 8GB RAM, so I can see the RAM difference impact daily, especially when having several tabs open in a browser.

if you compare the 256gb versions, Fe has triple amount of ram, 4gb is not enough for multitasking. But again, multitasking in ipad is a joke. For web browsing, media comsumption, FE is more snappy than the ipad.

@@sungleong Let me partially disagree with this. You definitely have no direct experience if you say this. For web browsing, media etc the iPad is way snappier as the CPU performance (single and multi core) is much higher, not even close. It won't slow down even for multitasking (although indeed multitasking is more limited on the base iPad without stage manager). The big difference is reloads. The base iPad will reload like crazy apps and tabs when you open many of them, while the Samsung will keep them open in RAM

iPad 10th gen (64 gb storage + wifi) costs around $445 while Samsung S9 FE+ (8gb + 128gb + wifi) costs around $566 in India

The 128 gb variant does not exist for ipad, add the 256 gb and apple pencil price and it almost is the same, but if you go for the tab S9FE for a little smaller screen you will actually get better value

@@unknownboi4414 you have a 1380 in the S9FE more ram wouldn't make sense if your CPU isn't powerful enough to use it, maybe get a 8/256 model of the S9FE it'll be cheaper then the 256 ipad and you get a stylus in the box, win win

@shrishpotdar343 I'm not planning on buying iPad since it doesn't come with stylus, slow charging, less storage space compared to samsung, not many features as Samsung dex which S9 FE has, no water/dust protection. I don't care about processor performance since I have a pc. I'm just more leaned onto buying 8+128gb variant of S9 FE+ since it has bigger screen than S9 FE

@@unknownboi4414 well well.... As a tailor would say, "Suit yourself" If you're just buying a media consumption device with occasional heavy tasks then yeah S9FE+ is a great option, it works and works well enough for 90% of the people here

Right now, Samsung s9 FE+ is 24k in India, and iPad 10 gen is 28k, I’ve an iPhone 14, but is the 4K + Apple Pencil price worth it just for the ecosystem, I plan on using tab for casual gaming (occasional high intensity games), note taking, Multi media, but mostly productivity, as a second screen for my laptops. What should I consider? I’m so confused

Live in Russia. Ipad 10 cost about 500+, S9 FE+ about ~470, but on some markets i can buy Tab S9 (11 inch, not plus or ultra) for 510 $, and its stupingly good for this price. The most sanctioned country, they said

Hi Tech or anyone willing to respond, I’m really hoping you will respond to this because I have been pondering this for a while. How long will 8g RAM for mobile gaming? Like Warzone Mobile, PubG, semi-hardcore/hardcore games. I have been thinking of getting 1 terabyte for that 16g ram for my IPad Pro 12.9 Inch. Should I ? I only am thinking about buying IPad Pro so I can run games better and possibly maxing out the graphics. Sometimes schoolwork.

Hi and thank you for watching. I can tell you that I have never needed more than 8GB on my M1 or M2 iPad Pro models for gaming. Personally I would only upgrade if I needed the storage. Hope that helps.

If gaming is priority, then go for Xiaomi but But If you plan to use pen Go for Samsung. Samsung comes with S pen but you have to pay extra 5500₹ to Buy Xiaomi pen. Also using pen is extremely optimised with Samsung.

Which one should I go for? Here in India, iPad 10th Gen costs around 34k INR (408$) S9 fe + costs around 44000k (510$) Me being a student, so my sole purpose is to watch video lectures and note taking.. (Budget is not the issue.. i want a device which is most suitable for me)

The funny thing is, if you brake display on both devices, you will pay pretty much the same price for just glass in the ipad and whole display on Samsung. Apple prices 😂
