Act first, and then the inspiration will come to correct the initial act. This is the momentum for moving forward!

Iteration is a very good way out. Start as bad as it gets and let your perfectionism do its job along the way, tweaking every small detail you find unsatisfying.

imperfect action huh? i feel like a burden have been lifted from my shoulders. i always hesitated to start because of perfectionism and that led to inaction. thanks for this very crucial insight.

Amazing video about analysis paralysis! Wait, was it the other way around? Who cares… Striving towards perfection reminds me of everything I know from society: School, work and your parents’ high expectations. If you were perfect, you would never be improving! In order for something to look good, there must be something you positively developed from in the first place. See imperfection as the reason to continue! If you were perfect, there’d be nothing left to do. And there is no perfection! It’s merely an illusion! So, as usual, the following applies: Having everything is having nothing!

idk man. To be able to think clearly and from first principles you must be a perfectionist or overthinker . thats my experience

@@cesarolguin9022 Thinking clearly means you have to form your own opinions based on the most fundamental truths you know (critical thinking or first principles).if you know what critical thinking and first principles thinking or thats your way of thinking then you know that everything you do is super analyzed or when you learn something new you like to learn from the very beggining and learn every single detail. All this thinking can lead to inaction and procrastionation thus this means being a perfectionist and overthinker.
