The Nintendo Switch Joy Con controllers are renowned for drifting, whereby the controller has a mind of it's own, and gets seemingly 'stuck' moving. Nintendo will repair this under warranty, however for older units, you're a bit out of luck.
You can buy replacements cheaply, and it's not a tricky job to do.. however, quite often the replacements will fail too.. And that's what has happened to me. However, Zedlabz are selling an upgraded replacement that uses Hall Effect Sensors to hopefully stop the drift for GOOD!
In this video I show you how easy they are to fit, and anyone can do it, with a few simple tools..

What gets me is why with the cost of consoles why the manufacturers don’t build these type joysticks in all consoles or controllers, defo worth a purchase if needed.

I have some Dualshock controllers from the late 90's that must have more hours one them than all the xbox and nintendo controllers put together with ZERO drift. So it is defiantly something they have done to thenselves.

Yeah, what’s the difference between them, as I’m guessing you’ve tried both?

@@kiphakes I have bought the zedlabs sticks before however that might have been before they picked up hall effect parts as mine are drifting after 3 years. The gulikit are a bit more expensive but they use less battery power compared to stock sticks.
