This happens on many Murray, Craftsman, and John Deere models. It is a bit annoying when it happens, so why not fix it permanently.

The best fix is the one that's the least complicated and this one is definitely up there! Thanks, Bob!!
I have a John Deere TRS27 snowblower. I have had the very same problem with my chute control turning while operating snowblower. Thanks for the video. Quick, easy fix.

Thanks Bees, I just got some old mowers from a landscaper. I don't know how these landscapers and make it without servicing their own equipment. If you can fix your own equipment for 20 years it can save you a ton of money. We are getting ready for the mowing season here.

Thanks, it worked out well.
what is the horsepower on this snowblower
my snowblower craws backward on its own without pressing down any levers. do you know why?
I hope we have seen the last snow around here, can't stand it anymore. How are those rear wheel arches holding up on your Dodge pickup?

Yes this has been a long winter. I heard 3-5 Sunday night into Monday. I have a boat load of snowblowers clogging up my shop and no one wants them. The wheel arches are doing well. The bad side the shop cut out and replaced it looks perfect. The other side had work done before I owned the truck. It was starting to bubble and my guy fixed that spot but now it is bubbling a little bit down lower on the wheel well. I want to spray in the back by pulling out the brake lights. I'm probably going to wait about 5 years and get it fixed again. Not planning on getting a new truck.
