The problem though with this logic is at some point you will have to rely on others , your not going to win every single game even if that is your visison to do so... City haven't won every Game, and they might be considered the best team of the premier league era by some people..

They wouldn't have had a similar situation in Glasgow, the only ones challenging for it are Celtic and Rangers, so we don't know if let's say what a Celtic fan would say if beating Aberdeen in a match gives Rangers the league title. As a same city rivalry I can imagine it would have been horror for Spurs fans if Arsenal won the league

I've been having this argument with my work colleagues for the last week or so. Can't agree with Ange more...even though I'm an Arsenal fan! The game against City, could have been a win/win for Spurs fans...either you celebrate beating the best team in the country, or you lose and Arsenal don't win the league! I know of so many Spurs fans who didn't go to the game simply because they didn't want to see their OWN team win, because it might mean Arsenal win the league. So defeatist. To those Spurs fans, you wont win ANYTHING with that mentality! Be better, your manager and your team deserve it!

Putting that aside and viewing it from a neutral perspective, Spurs will never win anything with such a defeatist attitude. I have family that are Spurs fans, West Ham too, and they agree with me.
