I returned to dota and was previously high legend-low ancient before the mmr deflation and now im at around 3K and was really puzzled why i wasnt really gaining mmr until I realised I forgot a good amount of basic laning thanks to this video.

I would argue there is an mmr inflation Way too many people who should be in the herald ranks are in 3-4k bracket If you are unlucky, buckle up for a lose streak where you arw absolutely powerless

Im a complete scrub so i cant speak to how good that first move by drow is strategically speaking but i can say for sure that stuff like this spreads good vibes. And good vibes carry games. Esspecially in lower elo, if your teammates stay happy and tilt-free, your winrate skyrockets

Stopped playing dota last year but still love speeeds stuff.

If u are wondering, its because of the new ranking System. This guy is boosted. My peak is divine 1, ofc i know aggro, i compete with 6-8k player back in day on lane. I took a break and lost track of a lot of stuff and decreased in mechanics as well. When i came back calibradet early. It takes gpm and stats over anything. If u calibrate with low ranks u get low, if with higher automatcly higher. I tried solo and sacrificied my game 2make space, ended up a lot of dying and team won. However by creating space for carry i only had around 400-500 gpm while enemy loosing mid farmed afk all game and got like 700. He gained more mmr in loss than me in win. 2 sum it up, i wasnt at my lvl and calibrated low archon, luckily had recalibration still, which can do 1time a year. I have friends who have been herald/Guardian for 10 years, playing accordingly now sitting at legend1 higher than me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

i had a similiar game yesterday (i was the legion vs a drow & cm.. i got pooped on) my lich support and our techies kept feeding them though but so did i.. tried to recover but meeh.. edit: i at least pulled the creeps back and farmed jungle abit but still lost

Speeed, on behalf of the community we MUCH prefer theee videos as supposed to you “THIS NEW OFFLANE BUILD IS BROOOKEN” videos. Most of us never play these offlane es you suggest whereas these vids are good to watch for all players

i play Dota 1 on RGC and these videos are very helpfull. But this legion had the most EZ PEZ game in history and he gambled it . I wouldve won this game with WR alone . This guys literally sucked AF. keep up the good work Speed

That’s different because you’re spamming decay with a soul ring essentially for free. You can get two decays off with one soul ring activation.

Soul ring is free with Decay. But not with LC, LC need to get hit to proc his passive or use skill 2 to regen, which suck because both does not result in any harass like Decay does.

Dota Gaved me Guardian this season (all games pos 5, yes i lose alot due to cores having fish brain) and im amazed how they afk in lane especially min 1-5 including supports Afk i mean not doing something impactful in the lane and not looking for opportunities

After valve mega-patch and a new ranked system, I legit feel like most people Crusader archon and Legend are terrible at dota2, I was guardian I m legit bad at the game( I play very little ) but I beat them constantly in lane with half brained fundamentals. If they are divine or above, the game changes dramatically. Somehow, the gap is real.

serious Question. Am I the only 1 who goes 2, 3, 1 in skill order? Soul ring make sense then because I use it for heal and attack speed for faster clear. and counter attack makes it better with the heals. So I can take a fight anytime. I've had 1 kill with skill 1 my whole life. I only use it against illusions.

And in regards to your question, definitely not 2nd skill at lvl1, almost never. Lvl 1 is great for harass if against a melee hero and for range creep secure. Passive is good if you can man up lvl 1 to look for fb. But the second ability is only good if you have a horrible match up and need the dispel badly.

Just aggro creeps on your side *in front of tower* and ignore him. If you deny all your creeps and not let enemy to LH them it's pretty much GG for you on laning phase.

Even I pull aggro when I can and I’m guardian (I’m new to the game)

stop saying u will gain mmr if u lasthit/deny better than ur enemy, in guardian and usually have atleast double in both. Just end up losing because the team doesnt want to group and just jungles like downies.

Sometimes i get games like this and let me tell u, if you start giving your team orders and you know what to do you will increase your chances of winning. I know sometimes the team mates are straight up dumb or bad or just dont care about winning but trust me, i was guardian, once i learnt more of the game and started leading my team i got more wins, im archon now

He is having trouble pulling creep aggro because his support wont contest the WD. The moment he goes for aggro WD steps up to malidict, its preventing him hardcore from pulling aggro. Hes attempting to aggro from as far as possible, but its not working because hes risky ng death. This is part of the game is not his fault, its the support whos not occupying the real threat in lane. The WD.

It's his fault. He could easily just right click WD or Drow Ranger and aggro creeps towards his ranged creep and deny him and after that make creeps to follow him in front of his tower and keep his farm safe and deny every Drow last hit.

Wand, raindrops, mangoes, lotus. You'll need a ring of health or vanguard to sustain soul ring or tango salves

I like the idea behind this video but most of all the things in this video are just "This guy did this wrong" without showing us what he should have done instead. Saying "aggro creeps" or disapproving of his harass techniques is not very helpful when you don't show exactly how and when he should aggro creeps and when and where he shoul'dve harassed differently.

Lol this guy is a account buyer for sure, im guardian and play 5 times more this guy, he doesnt even now how to aggro, while i move my camera to another lane to aggro when they are not showing up, as a guardian lol

it's bad as a first rush item since the recipe is so expensive now, even on heroes that need it like brood and mars they typically go bracer boots then soulring.

This LC does not even look like Legend 5. Most Legend people already pretty good at pulling aggro. This Mofo is borderline crusader at best.

I like how archons and crusaders in sea plays better than this guy. Like dude wtf

Legend V? -year 2023 still buys soulring on legion -no creep agroo -Still has salve 15mins game... on a legion commander HAHAHA IF player still has tango/clarity/salve 15-25 min mark means player has no awareness at all = herald to crusader.. archon to some extent. Crusader/Archon/Acc buyer

@@Petyan16 With the match id you provided, LC was indeed countered by WW and Tusk. Tough match up for LC for sure, but with a little communication with Pudge, he could Dismember either WW or Tusk, and LC could duel the other. Still impressive she won in a Divine game nonetheless.
