It's funny how mid DK at 28:36 complains to the team "give me some farm!" while chad Abbadon has been farming quietly and efficiently all game (without taking his carry's farm).

Nah sorry i appreciate the motivation but thats bullshit. The average player is around 2k or so. Slightly above that would be 2,5k or so. 6k is already like the top 5% or even less.

This has been the most exciting video of the smurfing series.

This dk tried his hardest to throw that game, somehow you guys pulled through.

Yeah very impressive / informative. I would have mentally given up at least 3 times during the game, he stays calm and plays greedy + smart.

It looked like late mid game, BSJ forgot he had meteor hammer; either that or was saving it for something specific

you could show the overall after the match, showing itens and dmg given/taken

It's difficult to figure out when to do it, especially since according to lower-ranked teams everything they do is important and they flame you for not joining fights. Had a guy in Legend deadass tell me to smoke with them at min 14 as a PA that was just finishing a Battlefury, and proceeded to flame me half the game because of it. It was hilarious.

@@xIcarus227 yeah, I feel that. Has happened to me multiple times. I feel like people don't realize the roles of certain carries, obviously PA is a hyper late game carry who needs exorbitant amounts of farm. Good luck getting out of that MMR 🤣

lastly, i honestly don't know how you keep the mindset you have throughout entire game... that's probably the most mind boggling aspect of this entire video... i couldn't do this so big props to you for having this type of personality, teaching, showing, and doing all in one. without talking outright shit - just "pointing out little things" lol. man... i hope you aren't bottling it all in and one day you blow up. stay chill homeslice, never seen you before or this channel but glad i caught it cuz i needed this very, VERY laid back energy from you. even though i don't play this game since the days of wc3 RoC and a little in TFT when my 2s partner wasn't online for ladder or i couldn't find a match in 1v1 ladder. actually met one of my ex gfs through playing dota on TFT way back in 2006 and she was amazing. only downside was the distance. she was such a chill chick and it was funny as hell cuz back then, it was hard to find females that gamed cuz you already know what would happen (they'd either be swarmed by dudes vying for attention or shittalked to) or no one would believe them cuz whenever someone said they were a female, most of the time it was to get carried on the ladder. i remember in ventrilo even i talked shit saying "nah no way, i don't believe you til i hear it and even then it could be a voice changer." it was through sharing pics/phone #'s to text and eventually call and then meeting up. we went to a few shows at a big venue that no longer exists T_T RIP Tremont Music Hall

Notice that in the other games BSJ was very focused on just playing, and not coaching his team how to play. He would just do his role and show that if he did it well enough then he wins even if his 3k teammates are playing like 3k players etc. This game it was completely different. He kept telling his team when not to fight. He told DK what item to go for. Makes me think that in order to win these higher MMR games even BSJ needs to coach his team to play better than they normally would in order to win. At 24:30 for example he breaks his own rule by telling dawn how to play their hero which is in no relation to how BSJ is playing his hero. I say this not to flame BSJ, BSJ is awesome, just pointing out how difficult it is to not do these things!

great video. One thing I struggle with in low MMR is lanes like this where you do not want to trad with carry (ursa, slark). How do you avoid interacting but then also not just letting them free farm?I dont play a lot of offlane but this is a concept i struggle with at low mmr

I think he doesn't mean to not letting them farm, he just let them farm. His team are weaker early game, chances are he has better late game line up with the same networth.

Try to swap lanes when it hits a point where he no longer feels comfortable in the lane. This game he let Mirana take lane because Ursa cant really kill her, and he choose to shove mid.

If your hero has the ability to clear waves behind tower and get out safely do it you make the lane draw instead of losing it completely

Creep aggro. You see it perfectly in this video, it takes him half a wave before the lane is in front of his tower, and he keeps it there. It's really hard for ursa to try to trade with you if you can simply walk 200 range and be in your own tower range. Get rid of the mindset "not letting him free farm". If you know you're in a bad matchup, you've already concluded you can't stop him, so trying anyway is just the first step to failure.

my guess is just focus on getting radiance so the timing isn't completely ruined by a bad start. pretty sure he was aiming to power spike with dk blink so if he went meteor from a bad lane he wouldn't have been able to

Should have picked a better meta hero like the DP you went in a previous game. Hard to smurf with a limited hero like Abaddon. In the end, probably doesn't matter due to the MMR difference though.

Down here in the 500 trenches, if I told my mid/carry to buy blink they would've cursed me out then grief farm the rest of the game.

if you're the ursa and your team doesn't stay around him. Ursa needs to build to 100% kill the target he jumps (nulli, abyss etc) and maybe BoTs to stay with his strongest teammates and not let them bleed/feed kills. When DK bought back that was a huge opening to win the game. All they needed to do was jump DK or Clinkz again. Around 32 mins there was a clear micommunication on storm/dp jump when their rubick tp'd home to deal with split. Ursa basically threw here. He was too passive and wasn't aware of how strong his team was/didn't need rubick to win the fight. If ursa was with storm on the clinkz catch, and killed DK; Radiant had no mirana or dawn ult and most likely would've badly lost that fight. Radiant had no glyph so they'd have gotten atleast rax and top t2. 34 mins: Ursa was trying to finally make a play without his team/when Storm was down = couldn't even finish off DK. 35 mins: say you're the ursa and you still fucked up that badly. Now is the time to use your teammates as bait. His team is slowly losing their advantage, he needs to kill someone asap, bait the enemies into a fight outside of their base then jump the priority target/Clinkz. Instead he shows at the top t2 giving radiant space to farm/split. He needed to be with storm and just kill whoever storm sees/jumps on. Instead you see him try to jump the aba first instead of letting storm catch = big mistake. 38 mins: Ursa tries to frontline instead of letting dp bait or storm jump. Throws the fight and gives enemy more space like a big clown. 40 min fight: Ursa is just.. not with dp or storm, another thrown fight. Ursa's team finally wins a fight when Ursa is playing with his team and doesn't go in first. tl;dr: Ursa threw, needed to not go in first/use team as a bait, jump the right targets, get pickoffs and close the game. Poor awareness and bad decisions in the late game like that is a sign they're not an amazing carry player yet or just really tilted. A good carry player would've played sooo many late game matches out similar to that by now and have a good understanding on what to have been doing that this was pretty much a snoozefest

@@elek323 cmon he didn't threw. it was a team effort on dire's side. they didn't cut off the waves at all on any hero. they kept tping back to base on heroes and got punished because they played vs a 9k mmr player. they also just sat in a group not doing anything, way too much

ok last comment for real, i doubt i'll get a reply on any of them but this is one i do prefer to have a reply: how high is 6k MMR exactly? can you or anyone who sees this give me a quick run down of the rankings/divisions/MMR brackets? so i have an understanding of what it means to be in 6k and still be "smurfing" but you say they're higher than you? typically in my day, when you smurfed, it was on a new acct with 0 "mmr" or on wc3, it was AMM then "ELL" AMM= automated match making reworked t ELL = estimated ladder level (which spawned ladder abuse and ruined ladder for legit players like myself... meaning if you won X amount of games without losing, your "ELL" was too high to match anyone else, turning into hours upon hours long que times) this is the base of where "ELO" came from and idk what ELO stands for... except rating/mmr.

I disagree at that point player are not headless chicken anymore. They play very coordinated, and make limited mistakes. It's not your 1/2k games.

he built to kill / secure pickoffs. Halberd stalls/control, but doesn't enable pickoff/gank style as well as a hex did late game. Mid-game was playing to force tps/dodging enemy movements to create space for his team / open enemy up to bad fights.

It's definitely a nice item to have against ursa, but looking at the way the early-mid game went, BSJ was talking that it was gonna be impossible to fight the enemy team, so that's the reason he went for radiance+manta so he could split push and avoid teamfights and wait for an opening, and that opening was when they got the ursa at min 38 (in-game clock), 31 (in youtube video).
