Welcome back! This was a CKFC Tourney at Horsetooth Reservoir. We struggled all day with a lot of small fish and then ended up getting caught in a thunderstorm. I definitely should’ve made better decisions here especially after hearing my rods buzz and seeing my braid floating in mid air. I hope you guys enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing your tournament day on the lake it it was a tough day on the lake for sure! Some very seriously sketchy times on the lake when that weather changed so quickly! Definitely making the right decision to get off the lake sooner especially after your fellow angler tells you my poles are buzzing to be safer should told me it’s time to go! No tournament is worth losing your life! I’m glad everyone is safe until the next event tight lines take care and God bless!

That lightning bolt literally struck the next cove after Satanka Bay. Probably the closest Ive even been to lightning haha

Have you ever caught the wipers in that lake?
If you want to act as a lightning conductor try standing up and holding your rod up above your head.

@@BeenRedeemed-f6d i definitely catch a ton of trout on bass lures (or "bass-targeted" lures) but I don't have any uploads of them. Maybe I'll do some more multi-species trips in the near future!
