    Bengali's make it with raisins, cardamom, little bit of brown sugar & tempering with panch phoron (A 5 spice blend of cumin, brown mustard, fennel, nigella & fenugreek seeds). Makes it sweet & tangy. Several variations to this chutney. Thanks From San Diego. Love ur recipes:)

    you're lucky if you can take the starch, for me it causes inflammation and a little pain. I just cook my lentils in passata and my rice is salad lol. xxx

    I don't understand.... Are you saying you get more of the lycopene from cooked than raw? Or are you saying you ONLY get the lycopene when cooking the tomatoes? Bc you also get it from watermelon as well. 😋 TY 💜

    I just read recently from a health professional that you should cook the tomatoes a little you get more lycopene from them. I hope that helps.

    You missed out one thing… the most important nutrient … light 💡… when we cook we kill the light. Biophotons are the most important of all nutrients . Raw tomatoes are actually better because their enzymes dont get destroyed also in the process of heating . When cooked they are denatured and lose the ability to sweep the colon of old debris because their charge has been diminished .

    As a warm tomato lover I totally get it. Personally nothing beats the taste of a good sweet-savory tomato pasta sauce but it's the same with cooked fruit/jams, some people just really don't like it.
