Stop Complaining, Start Creating. | Zana Ahmad | TEDxNishtiman

Dr. Zana Ahmed encourages people to take responsibility for their own lives and to stop blaming others for their failures. He argues that people often play the role of the victim to attract attention, but this does not lead to success. Dr. Zana suggests improving beliefs, organizing priorities, developing skills, and studying leaders to achieve goals. His talk emphasizes the importance of defining one's values and passions, developing relationships, and pursuing personal growth. Zana Ahmed has a Bachelor's degree in General Surgery and Internal Medicine and a doctorate in Psychiatry. Dr. Zana worked with more than 13 NGOs as a program manager, marketing manager, and general manager. For the time being Dr. Zana is living in the Kurdistan region and has his own psychological clinic. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

See if you can catch yourself complaining, in either speech or thought, about a situation you find yourself in, what other people do or say, your surroundings, your life situation, even the weather. To complain is always nonacceptance of what is. It invariably carries an unconscious negative charge. When you complain, you make yourself into a victim. When you speak out, you are in your power. So change the situation by taking action or by speaking out if necessary or possible; leave the situation or accept it. All else is madness. 🕊️ Eckhart Tolle
