I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k,but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million

Well, I've been doing international B2B worldwide for a very long time. Many JP businessman purchased goods from China and send to the Japan warehouse, so you might think its a Japanese product. What's more, even there's a 'Made in Japan' printed on the product, many of them are still made in China, Chinese factories only need to follow the order requirements. There's no cheap material in Japan since the country is so tiny, also not enough space to build big factories like CN, Vietnam or India. If you're gonna buy a product that is similar price or same outlook with Chinese product, be careful with your purchase.

Been buying Japanese cars for a good reason ... not cheap, not expensive, plenty of included options, and quality, quality, quality
Subscribed. I want to get into exporting without necessarily doing ecommerce (B2B supply), but if I can figure it out, then I'm all for it.
Love the fact you are exploring this! Another thing I love longevity and minimal maintenance. I hope Japan continues this pursuit of craftsmanship. ❤
We THANK YOU STEVE! :) Bless you and your family!
Thank you for all you do, your advice will have a wonderful result for hundreds of people.
Thank you for the info.
Hello thanks for the valuble ideas and information that my goal to start another store this year because of the shipping problems from China in 2020 I had to shut things down the quality and craftmanship seems better with the Japanese products, thanks keep the gems coming.
I had experience buying ACTUALLY Japanese things (mostly electrical devices and home equipment) and they are INCREDIBLE, their design and ideas are way ahead of the rest of the world... and the funny thing is they only produce it for themselves...same brand that makes a product for rest of the world make a different product for Japanese users.
Super information, thank you
I just subscribed to your channel thank you so much for sharing
I’m on board for that! ❤
completely agree with this!
I’ve shopped from Temu about 20 times and I love their items especially their clothes! I’ve been disappointed in a few things but loved most of their things! I’ve bought quite a few shirts for my boyfriend and he loves them! I hope you’re wrong about them.
very detailed and helpful info - Thank You! I've been thinking of starting an online business but don't want to source from China, so this video came at the right time for me.

It's a very good and informative video and your idea of importing from Japan is an excellent one. But the problem is that all of the products I checked on "Super Delivery" are made in China. If you look carefully under the "Specification" they have clearly written "Country of manufacture: China"

So I went to the website you suggested , (Both Raccoon and Superdelivery) and the items I am looking for says they were "Made in China" So correct me if I'm wrong, but all these sites are doing is buying directly from China and marking up the price for resale. I was looking for products that were Made in Japan, not a middle man for China. I would be better off price wise ordering through Alibaba! What gives here?

Honestly, a lot of small products in Japan come from China. If you find any cool stuffs in Japan, go directly to the factories in China, you can find the same quality but cheaper.

I have been wanting to source from Japan for over a decade. I have spent time looking, off and on, and never found any source like this and this is what I was looking for. The only thing I would like to see is a move towards a hybrid account (dropshipping/wholesale). Hopefully someone will create that some day. But I understand why it is wholesale only. More Japanese are starting in Japan to sell on the internet. Digitaka is one of them. The YEN has fallen compared to the dollar. you can get 40 percent off due to exchange rate. Amazon Japan is also available. $44 ❤️❤️❤️
Love your content very informative. But wild they accept if you have a retail store not an online business?
in my country especially in the 80s and 90s many goods were made in japan, what a wonderful experience that was, than chineese stuff started pouring in and though it was cheaper difference in quality was unbelievable
thanks for your awesome content and education do you have any recommendations for purchasing cars and suv's from Japan will small size samples for individuals?
Thanks for this. Was really excited about the non-sweatshop, high-quality aspect...but then went looking on their site and most of the neat products I check out were actually manufactured in China 😭

Good Japanese products might come from Chinese, the catch is quality control. If you have an office to send inspectosr to do the QC in factories. The quality could be raised above the low cost junks.
Thx, I'm currently not importing products, but planning for the future. Great content, thanks a lot. And the fact that China's moral compass is kinda off these days, makes a good or even better alternative even more important.
@gregwong2132

If morals are your concern, boycott American and Israeli goods
Generally love your content - but this one was quite misleading (I get the Japan-o-philia, been doing business with Japan for decades). Maybe you have a stake in the success of this platform (explaining the incentive) but - to say that only 'some' of the products might not be made in Japan lacks the integrity your content is generally known for. Most of the products appear to be sourced from China - meaning - you're effectively paying more for Chinese goods - made to Chinese standards, imported into Japan - where Japanese import duties are applied, a provision/margin for the Japanese importer is then added, not to mention a further margin for the site - and that's your price. You're paying a Japanese intermediary, for goods from China, that you could import directly at a much lower cost. Most Japanese entities don't want to engage with foreign clients - for reasons you'd likely not want to cover in your videos so as not to alienate your viewer base. There are still restaurants and businesses in Japan today with signs "Japanese only" on them. Why Japan remains off limits in many ways to the rest of the world is a topic most would rather not discuss. Without doubt - Japanese quality is second to none (or second only to Japanese quality from decades passed), however - it's far from the clear-cut utopia of ethical practices, business standards, manufacturing quality, elegantly presented here. Sourcing genuine goods from Japan - requires going there - forming lasting relationships (that require months, if not years, to cement), and above all else - demonstrating your 'worthiness' of that relationship, rather than pulling out your credit card, and a platform that offers (mostly?) Chinese made goods, under the flag of "sourced from Japan".

I have no stake in this company whatsoever. And you have to realize that sourcing and making great products goes way beyond just where the materials are fabricated. To say that we are paying double is grossly false. The quality control and ingenuity is what is important here. We are generalizing an entire country here, but the quality that I've experienced from Japan is just way better. They care about reliability, packaging, everything. Whereas many factories I've worked with in China just throw something in a box and QC is always a problem

@@mywifequitherjobI second what you say. The issue here is not who makes it. Question is how good is the quality of delivered goods. And how much is the product tested at source. Chinese products in themselves are not the problem.

I think this as to do with the fact the Chinese suppliers are well awear of the fact that exporting substandard products to Japan will cost them a lot of trouble with the Chinese Government. And so will not go that route. Enhance they only ship quality if they must. There are a lot of quality goods in China, but a lot of unscrupulous dealers.
I miss Japan. The people were so genuine graceful and kind. Nothing like south Texas in the 90's.

san jose, great memories. I used to work for the mercury news. anyway, moved to japan back in 2001. starting an ecommerce store, copying a particular ecommerce site, which I will not name publicly. whats the protocol for contacting the suppliers directly?
Checked the SuperDelivery, thanks for sharing. Just a quick question. I found this info about the import and duties on the webpage. Do we need to hire a shipping broker when buying from JP and send it to the US to help us clear the shipment, or are they taking care of that and sending it directly to our warehouse? Are they sending by any chance straight to FBA? "Customs clearance procedures for exports are handled by SUPER DELIVERY-arranged carriers. For imports, customers may be subject to import tariffs, additional related expenses, and procedures. Depending on the situation, customers may need to contact carriers or customs to complete the import clearance. If payment or procedures during import customs clearance are not completed, or if local customs/carriers consider the parcels invalid or undeliverable, the parcels may be held, returned, or discarded. Customers may also be responsible for any associated costs in these cases. Regarding the above, please note that SUPER DELIVERY will not be held responsible. Thank you in advance for your understanding."
My concern is to effect cost reduction, would the Japanese buy from China then resell to a U.S. importer?

Japan is strict about product quality and purchasing from overseas can be difficult. If you are looking for high quality and unique products from other wholesale market, Japan is a good choice. In addition to that, Korea also has a fashion jewelry wholesale market, which is more diverse and of better quality than China.
