This is a technique is from the early 2000's when I started web design. You think that a bot is not able to decipher this hash...? The way the generator creates the hash for you, a bot can also decipher it :P

I think so too. As long as you see the correct eMail in the front end, a bot can see it too. My solution: I'm using a server site php file. I can try to put in here, but I think YT will filter it.

I've been using a plugin for this for many years and found I can leave it alone and it just works automatically. However, I'm always looking for one less plugin! So, how would one use this in an icon box, button, or other situation where it isn't just text and the extra "mailto:" needs to be popped in?

Hi Lyn, that plug-in does not work in a pagebuilder. Only in bare WordPress posts and pages.

For forms you would use 4 x Honeypot (and maybe Recaptcha).
