I am now 77 years old and thought I'd seen and heard it all. I am so thankful to have witnessed this phenomenon. 53 years ago I was in the support band to The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Still love his contribution to music, but this girl takes the biscuit.

Hendrix is still great, but in his context of time...I believe many of these prodigies would have more difficult time playing songs from back then, as they required more feeling & technical dynamics were different...Id like to see someone play on a Gibson SG all that speed & technical ability would disappear...I'd like to see someone play I'm going home on an Ibanez...

Hands down, my FAVORITE living guitarist. I've been around 4 half a century. Tina S was born with a gift. She realized that gift and polished it. I'd like to say a special thanx 2 her parents for helping us to see and hear a true gift to anyone who has ever heard a guitar being played. She not only plays what i grew up listening to, but SHE PLAYS IT SO BEAUTIFUL. When a person would rather hear u play the song, instead of listening to the song itself, that's somethin special. GOD bless u Tina S. Thank u 4 being u. You play amazing! I wish u a lifetime of joy and happiness. Please never stop sharing your gift with the world. Top shelf!

The best for her age! She started on E guitar at 13, before that it was acoustic guitar in the finger-style mode. Studying Classical guitar she mastered reading sheet music while playing (which is why she hardly looks at the fret-board and wont make silly faces, or, grimaces while playing), and comprehensive string-muting, which is a real skill on E-Guitar! Her ability to mute individual strings while knocking-out speed riffs is extremely advanced! All of her E guitar playing that we see on YT was learned , and performed, while learning to be an 'A' level student in High School. I can't think of any other guitar player who could have done what she did so well in 4yrs,5mns, except maybe Jason Becker!

Herman Li did a Dragon Force reaction on Tina. He said a few words that sums it all up. He said he reached out to her and invited her to hang with the band and jam if she wanted to, but he did not get a reply. I think, other than putting college in front her, she had to grow up a little. She was destined for stardom at such a young age and probably was not ready for it. I hope she comes back soon. This world really needs someone like her. There are many great guitarists out there, but there is just something about Tina that shines brighter than all the rest.

In a period of 5 years more or less, this girl mastered every single great rock and classical piece without missing a note. It's little wonder that she disappeared off the earth, there were no more challenges for her. She moved on, and thanks to youtube accumulated ( and still accumulates) the money for her education and probably life. We can only hope she misses the spotlight and returns.

She left, to study, I doubt very much that a girl that has been playing all her life would suddenly say, that's it, mountain climbed, like she sees her playing as some sort of challenge only." She will be back, I've no doubt.

@@SuperMoofie Intense guitar practice with top notch teacher was her life for 10 years until she was 16. In a decade she experienced more things than most people live in their whole life and for her own sake I think it's great that she went to school and college like a regular teenager. Maybe we lost a genius - because I don't think she will dedicate the time needed to get back to her past level - but I'm sure she will have a great life far from what Internet can produce as good and bad things. She lives a few miles from my home and I actually crossed her path in several occasions and she seemed happy, wandering with her friends as a total random person. The only regret is that she hasn't made a goodbye video or even a message explaining her fans that she quits. Sorry for grammar and vocabulary, English is not my first language.

@@SuperMoofie what is weird is that even his guitar teacher Renaud Louis-Servais explained that he stopped having contact with her out of the blue when she turned 18. For 2 years after her last video she kept on taking lessons and suddenly it was over "as if she left the Earth" as he said himself. In 2020 she created a music edition company at her own name but with no activity since then. I think she finished her college degree by now so we'll see...

You can see and hear that she's a trained classical guitarrist. That's why she's so relaxed and calm, why she does that "violin style" vibrato, why she played Moonlight Mv3 on her left leg with a foot stand,... Love her and hope she'll return to us some day soon.

She dissapeared from KZread to study at the university engineering if my memory is right. Recently she joined a band spin twice and she is playing the guitar again. Problem now is that she had done perfect covers of the best guitar songs out there. I hope people give her time it's one thing to cover it's another thing to write your own material. And i am afraid the expectations are higher then you could ask. Hope she loves what she is doing and we will see how it goes in the future but from me no pressure i am already glad i can see her again playing.

Tina S must LOVE playing guitar to show such dedication. MY theory is that when she plays fast straight classical she's in her trained mode maybe....more muscle memory with practice....when she plays Moore and Floyd for example....more bends, more feeling and 'soul' to find the right pitch....it is sad to think people say she looks bored or disinterested.....maybe that is why she has disappeared!? She has clearly dedicated her LIFE to that instrument!!!! Lots of love Tina S...wherever you are! ❤

Tina is one of my top 10 guitarists of all time. I discovered her through guitar worlds daily news letter back when wasn't even 10 yet. They always highlighted her in their daily posts when she dropped a new video. I hope she comes back after her long absence. Her stoic look as she plays is not any lack of emotion. She is so focused on what she is doing. When she does Vai, its so opposite of of how Vai acts on stage when he plays it. I don't care. She kills everything she does. Again top 10 on my guitarists list.
