This. Sounds like they couldn't be arsed to chase the guys with a bag they suspected had drugs in it, and instead took the easy option of nobbling a pre-offender. 120+ likes in 2 hours. That tells a story doesn't it. This video shows why. Every search conducted without reasonable grounds damages public trust. 90% of searches seem to be like this one. A hunch, prejudice, reasonable grounds barely ever seem to matter. If the threshold isn't met they do it anyway. Then one day they appeal to the public for help and wonder why the public turn their back on them.

The so called AB's behaviour is the result of excessive rights. Excessive rights can lead to a sense of entitlement, where individuals prioritize their own freedoms over the well-being of others. It might foster a culture of self-centeredness, potentially diminishing empathy and cooperation in society. Moreover, too many rights without corresponding responsibilities could result in chaos or conflicts as people exploit their freedoms without regard for the common good. Balancing rights with responsibilities is crucial for a harmonious and just society.

Avoiding the police isn't a crime, and there are plenty of reasons why a perfectly innocent person would do that.

The so called AB's behaviour is the result of excessive rights. Excessive rights can lead to a sense of entitlement, where individuals prioritize their own freedoms over the well-being of others. Guilty till proven innocent. Bail is the punishment.
Suspicion is not a crime
Logically, this means anyone can say anything about anyone, then that becomes 'grounds' for the police to search anyone they choose. He said "you may choose not to believe that", but that's because there's no way of knowing if he's making it up or not.
Hes making excuses for his Bad Behaviour "Thug" !!

@@peteramberley9952 I don't know why AB is defending him? Lets hope children don't come across 12 year old drug dealers with knives that want a reputation for killing in cold blood, If caught they get 12 years reduced to 6 years out before 18 years of age then with a name for killing.
That officer who turned up and spoke down to that person saying he was getting involved again. So what if he is exercising his right to express himself?? The officers attitude was gross, totally patronising and disrespectful. Unacceptable to talk down to a member of the public like that. The guy was obviously vulnerable as he didn't challenge back. I hate the police.

There is a rich vein of dodgy police in Birmingham.
I have seen police on TV programmes - You specifically looked at me so you are guilty. You specifically didn't look at me so you are guilty. And the ebikes, illegal electric motor bikes that need licence, mot, insurance, number plate, helmet and soon tax, being driven on pavements and the police do nothing. Apart from the danger, the cost of tax generated by the purchase of those things has to be covered by innocent law abiding citizens.
If your kids had gone into town and this peice of work robbed them of their phone or trainers you'd soon change your tune.
the further the video goes the more i think this kid DID need searching
He was actually taking off his shoulder numbers....that's gotta be a violation of their policy

@@paula3124 Not from that area, from somewhere else, and they only knew that because he told them about it. Nobody here is claiming that he is an angel, but you still need reasonable suspicion for a search. They stopped and searched him because he avoided them, but that isn't reasonable suspicion, which needs to be of a particular offense. Avoiding the police isn't a crime, and there are plenty of reasons why a perfectly innocent person would do that.

If a person is known to be on bail etc, known for drugs and that person appears to be waiting for something, the constable is entitled to suspect that person might be engaged in some form of illicit drug behaviour or whatever, We don't want drugs on the street.
