Stonehenge in Miniature (If only it was this easy!) - Realistic Scenery Vol.29
Ойын-сауық

The Anycubic Photon Ultra I´m using in the video is making its worldwide debut on the crowdfunding website "Kickstarter" on September 15th, where it will be available at just $399 for the first 100 backers and $499 for normal price. After Kickstarter, Photon Ultra’s price on Amazon will be over $599.
3D printing using resin printers has been a game changer for people in the model railroad hobby, it has enabled us to create and 3D print unique items that bring new levels of life onto our layouts. If there’s one tool I couldn’t do without, it would be the 3D printer… I mean you can even print your own tools as well 😮
The Anycubic Photon Ultra is a great printer and I will be using it a lot in the future as I continue to make dioramas and detailed model scenes.

This video was sponsored by Anycubic, they sent me this pre production printer to use and test, so far I’m very happy with the results and I’ve been able to print some awesome models with very fine detail, perfect for model railroads and dioramas. If you want to get your hands on one of these as soon as they get released you can order one from the kickstarter campaign here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/anycubic-official/photon-ultra?ref=a1h9bn

Seeing this in HO scale really puts across how bloody big the real location is.
Cool model; would love to see some more models in the future that aren't as reliant on 3D printers as the last few have been. A 'no 3D-printing challenge' could be a fun throwback.
Seeing Stonehenge at this scale will always remind me of Spinal Tap.

I was expecting basically every single comment to be Spinal Tap references. Only found this one. Now I feel old and a little bit frightened, but, at least there's one. I've heard that stonehenge was the third henge that was constructed on that site. It started with a strawhenge, followed by a woodhenge, but both were blown over by a big bad wolf....

after facing more restrictions it really helps to watch your videos - you have a therapeutic way in which you speak and focusing on the details helps calm my mind - this on top of the practical methods producing excellent results - very satisfying - thanks
As I said before, beautiful work as always. Perhaps you could have printed and animated some dancing pilgrims? 'In ancient times...'undreds of years before the dawn of 'istory...'.

Good idea Merrick. A traffic jam alongside Stonehenge would also be quite fitting!! I’ve been stuck there many times!
I go past Stonehenge on the way to work a lot, and that's pretty damn accurate. Nice work
Few channels have me feeling as excited for new videos like this channel does
Well that's just ironic I'm on holiday near Salisbury and I've just come back from Stonehenge today lol 😂
I love that all my favorite KZreadr's use Ryobi and usually shop at Home Depot. Coincidence? I think not!
Here I am, calmly watching this video and enjoying it when I should be getting ready to go to work. The time ticks by, but I am oblivious to the passing of it as I watch a wonderful diorama being made with the calming voiceover. Well done!
Satisfaction level of that much static grass: 12/10. :-)
This is one of the simplest but also prettier dioramas on this channel. Well done, Luke.
I live a mere car ride away from stone henge!! As ever, a fantastic diorama, thank you.
I was looking forward to see how you were gonna craft these from plaster and foam.

Yeah, the wave of anycubic sponsorships on basically every popular model making channel is leading to a lot of videos that just aren't very interesting to watch. 'I made this great scene! Here's how: I just printed it out.'
@kensomething379
2 жыл бұрын
I like the older videos where I learned how to make things. This is like going to learn how to paint scenes on canvas in a painting class, and the teacher prints it out on a piece of paper and slaps it in a frame.
Finally I made diaroma but it was a failure but your inspiration makes me to bulid another diaroma . Thanks Luke Towan ❤️❤️
An amazing build. The stones (after the printing and painting) look very realistic.
I'm glad to see Luke have his Spinal Tap moment.
Turned out beautiful! Love the realism!!!
People like to hate on Stonehenge, but I think the tour is awesome
Another great video. I am new to 3D printers and still learning how important they are in creating miniature. Thanks for sharing.
So the dislikes are from people who upset he didn't mine actual stone from a quarry and drag them hundreds of kilometers using HO scale logs.

I'm reminded of the Spinal Tap scene with the tiny Stonehenge. I have to watch that now

I'm only guessing here, but due to the amount of skill in your videos,I firmly believe you are playing the guitar and drums on the intro song
Another great video. I was half expecting to see some dwarves dancing round the model a la Spinal Tap.Keep up the good work Luke.👍
These are so good. It’s torture waiting so long for videos but it’s worth it lol.
Amazing work mate! Inspirational! We need a blade runner themed diorama - would be epic! Cheers from India
In ancient times, Hundreds of years before the dawn of history Lived a strange race of people, the Druids No one knows who they were or what they were doing But their legacy remains Hewn into the living rock, of Stonehenge

Note : The Druids are a relitivle modern concept. Those that moved and built the stones are far older. The truth is far more fascinating and intircate than fiction.
Nice to see you posting!
Absolutely stunning result.
luke amazes us every single time he is such an inspiration i started making dioramas thanks to him great piece Luke as allways
I have been to Stonehenge and it’s really spectacular. When I went it was before they closed it to the public and you can no longer go inside the henge…The stones have a special energy to them ,they almost buzz.if you touch them you can feel the energy come off them..Incredible place. Now you can only walk around a pathway around the outside of it.The visitors were wearing away the Earth and undermining the stones. However once a year at MidSummer the Druids are allowed to go into the circle to do their ceremonies .A lot of people gather to watch the spectacle every year…I hope this helped you realise how this creation you made is so important and needed protecting ..I love how you made this.It really looks the part 🥰
This is one of the few channels I will watch every video right after it gets released. Very good work.

My wife was born and brought up in Salisbury. She went, many times as a youngster, and clambered all over the stones. I have been ( Londoner) a couple of times, on route to Cornwall and also climbed all over them. I am sure that the restrictions now applied are more to do with avoiding lawsuits for injuries than any damage that could be done to stones that have been there for 5000 years!

Fantastic work. I will be driving past the real Stonehenge tomorrow. It's situated right next to a main road - or rather the main road is situated next to it! I've heard there is going to be a big tunnel dug in the area so they can close the road off permanently.
