Every time I hear "I just wanna watch the whole world burn" I get shivers. I don't know why, I think it's the way Corey delivers "burn" so aggressively but I love that lyric so much.

Well Slipknot wasn't Corey's band. He was asked to be the vocalist and as a result, stretched his vocal style to match what the band played. Stone Sour is Corey's band. Both Rock like all Hell but Stone Sour shows more of what Corey is as an individual.

Definitely one of the best songs ever written.

As a 43 year old, female, psych RN who worked the floor for too many years I feel this song in my soul.

Was watching an interview recently of Corey being interviewed by Larry King, and Corey said that Slipknot's and Stone Sour's sounds are very different. I completely agree. Slipknot is more raw, loud, and violent. Stone Sour is much more melodic and cleaner vocals. Love both bands to death \m/

The more I listen to Corey's voice, the better I feel. Only him can give such intensity and tenderness in difficult words.

This is my very favorite song. I’ve been listening to it almost every day the past 4 years.

Cory does a great job on this tune. As does the entire band. The keys on this tune really hold the bottom in and give it that big full sound. A great thing for an arena band. My best to the crew for all thier hard work as well. Without them none of this would of been possible.😊

This song randomly found me when my mom passed away...Now its hard not to break down when i hear it but i love it.. After some rough teenage years i distanced myself from her for many years and never really tried to rebuild the bridges that i burned.. She passed away october 2019 from pancreatic cancer after fighting it like hell for about a year.. Now i speak to her everyday and cry when i do... Life is short folks.. Forgive, forget, let go of the b.s..

the only reason corey taylor is not seen among the greatest vocalists ever like james hetfield and dio is because he simply is born 20 years too late. if this guy already made music in the 80's he would easily be in every top 5 list. especially people who grew up listening to metallica and black sabbath simply do not respect how fucking amazing this mans voice is. he can go from soft to totally brutal within one second. and most vocalists being on top 10 lists do not even scream. best singer for metal and rock of all time in my opinion. even though he gets a lot of respect for his voice, he still is underrated in my opinion.
