We met his niece by accident in a Quebec City Bar yesterday and by absolute fluke met her again in a resto/bar today. Her and her friend walked into the place minutes after we sat down. All four of us were absolutely shocked and delighted, although this morning I woke up and had this feeling we would bump into each other today. Lo and behold! We did and had a GREAT lunch together. What a wonderful world.

So lucky to have seen him, our dad loved Stompin' Tom. When were teens and grumbly aquiesced to dad playing him in car on trips we never realized how important he was becoming to us. Then we got older and now we all have fond memories of hearing him with dad tapping along. Many times now when we get together out come the Stompin' Tom tunes. Looks like at 42 seconds in...I can recognize, just behind Stompin Tom, this guitar player from Whiskey Jack. It appears he has been along with Stompin Tom right along ever since "The Return". Now that I think of it seriously, I wonder if he wasn't there the whole time EXCEPT for the era with Mark LaForme and the Formulas. Good question. Tom has had so many good people touring with him over the years. Two honorable mentions here, among countless others, were Graham Townsend, and J.P. Cormier.

I love my country!!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Stompin Tom, I love him and KD Lang too. This was great. Makes me smile.
I've never seen this video before but after 1 view it has become my favourite Stompin' Tom video... Thanks for sharing
Miss this guy. Still. Always.
He came to play in Chilliwack, BC in 2012, a short time before his death. This was a big deal too, because he rarely came to the west coast. My dad was the biggest fan while we were kids, but I wasn't the biggest fan at the time. My dad and I both passed up the chance to see him. Will always regret that.

@David Hynes I know there are many ukrainians. One day I hope I will visit Canada 🇨🇦
I saw Stompin Tom in Saskatoon. I was in the middle of the Second row. He came out, I said "There he is!". He was such a legend. After the second last song he looked at his watch and he said "Well we got time for one more!". Played the song and walked off the stage. He was a straight up guy. A little thoughtful/a little crisp getter done kind of guy. Unassuming and kind. Cool
ca-na-da we get to see them all we get to see the maple trees, maple sugar woo i love canada
BEFORE MY TIME,, BUT,, What a Great Iconic Canadian Vid in seeing this & THE 2 OF THEM TOGETHER, having Fun & being Canadian !!
in the fall of 1988 stompin tom released his first solo album in twelve years, ending a self imposed exile from the music industry which was sparked by what he percieved to be a lack of promotion & recognition on belhalf of canadain performers by the industry.this program appeared to air on CBC TV special in fall of 1988.found this info on 'a proud canadian' cd insert.
Oh great now my floor has got stompin marks all over it..lol..this was freakin awesome!!!
Happy Canada Day 2022 to all from near Vancouver, BC.
Two Canadian legends.
Old stomper is the best ever.

WOW
THANK YOU FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO!
I'll never forget being in the truck on the way to go fishing on the Madawaska up in Palmer Rapids. Every time we heard "jumped around like an orangutan" we'd all bust a gut laughing.
great show
GREAT SONG ,,LOVE IT
Looks like at 42 seconds in...I can recognize, just behind Stompin Tom, this guitar player from Whiskey Jack. Cormier.
He's tops.
Just heard of him the other day...I can see why he was a favorite!
In lieu of flowers, the Connors family has asked that donations be made to your local food bank or homeless shelters, in memory of Stompin' Tom.
am going to be attending the memorial in peterbourough h with my 12 year old the torch to pass on and the flag to fly high
Need more people so spread this video more
