STOMP makes rhythm with the Harlem Globetrotters
Ойын-сауық
Eight performers from the international sensation STOMP took to an outdoor basketball court in New York City’s Greenwich Village with four stars from the world famous Harlem Globetrotters to celebrate the team’s 90th year.
The unique collaboration directed by STOMP co-creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. School children at recess, tourists, locals and residents from nearby apartment windows watched in amazement as STOMP joined forces with Globetrotter stars Bull Bullard, Cheese Chisholm, Firefly Fisher, and Handles Franklin.

i remember i was in high school when my teacher showed me STOMP performance video.... no one understood about STOMP around my family and friends... so i kept those memories for myself..... years later after i graduate my university and worked in Jakarta, i heard STOMP had showed in Jakarta, that moment i felt flashback to my childhood, so i bought 3 tickets for me and my close friends... best memory ever!! i cried after watched it. i never expected to see STOMP live performance... but destiny said so.... thank you.

Thank you Defranco!
Secret link of the day! Thanks, Phil. The performers did a really nice job! This was cool.
I got to see "STOMP" live once, years ago as part of a band trip in school. Was pretty damn cool.
It must take SO MUCH work to make a routine like this!! These are some dedicated artists.
glad to see stomp still killing it after all these years
I am blown away by the talent and love shown here. It doesn't even make sense why there are 177 people that have such a lame outlook on life that they would hate by disliking a brilliant creative endeavour such as this wicked video! Wow. Wish I was involved with this. My rhythmic body love would have been in heaven. Ha ha!!
there needs to be a serious, artistic awards show for these shorts. the director/camera people are incredible
I'm not an expert on the rules of basketball, but I don't think that multi-colored ball should be on the court while all the other balls are in play.

As a child of the 80s this (Harlem Globetrotters. Not Stomp, who I've never seen live, but seem cool!) is hitting me with a wave of nostalgia. I remember going to their "game" (show) at SeaWorld when I was probably 6 years old, then a few years after with my cousins when it came to Utah.
1:20 the girl 3rd from the left doesn't throw the ball when she's supposed to.

All in one shot. Really amazing.
Wow. This sounds better than most songs that get pop-radio play. This is art and performance. Awesome.
This is awesome! I remember seeing the "Stomp Out Loud" video in 4th grade music class.
Who knew STOMP was still a thing?
truly can hear the stomp! it's great!
I really enjoyed this.
I didn't know I needed this in my life, but I'm glad it is now. Great job!
Great, as usual! I can't wait for the next time that Stomp returns to Chicago!
This is so soothing to listen to
I feel less like i was watching basketball music right there but more like a drumline. It was awesome.
incredible. great job with the camera work as well.
so many double dribbles
This reminds me of growing up watching Nickelodeon and on the commercial breaks every now and the "Mr. Frears Ears" would come on. It was only about 45 seconds or so but it made beats out of daily situations and loved the hell out of it. Great job
YAY! This made me smile.
another masterpiece of art
Loved the end, awesome stuff!
What an excellent video !!!
Best thing on the Internet I watched today 😊
This is awesome, makes me love humanity.

Maybe because, in a video that's supposed to be impressive because they are meant to be creating a beat, the audio has clearly been dubbed over the top?
One of the coolest things I've ever seen and I've seen some shit, as they say.
❤❤
I'm just surprised Harlem Globetrotters still exist. I'll have to check them out one day.
art
What's more impressive than this act is the isolation of those sounds on a mic in that environment. Unless of course they just used pre-recorded sounds. But still impressive.

I kept waiting to find out what junk food I was supposed to go buy because of this commercial and it wasn't even a commercial! Now how am I supposed to choose a cola?
Jesus... do they not even call traveling anymore in basketball? It should have been Washington Generals ball at 0:04.

If its streetball anything goes. And if you point out NBA players, most of the time the refs don't catch it because they are moving too fast, you as a viewer watching a TV is different than being on the floor running with them trying to catch all of the action.

I think the whole point was to make a cool beat with basket balls. I guess when you saw all those people each with their own ball bouncing them in rhythm with each other you just assumed they were actually there to play a legit game.
