We would always wink at each other as soon as we heard a former sailor start talking about his enlistment. We recently found your stuff and it has been great binge programming for us. Thanks Senior Chief. We enjoy and appreciate what you do.

Knew my boss for 15 years; he was a great guy but always gave out a weak old-man persona about him. Only thing I knew about his past was that he was a taxi driver in the 1960s and 1970s... it was the only thing he talked about in those decades. Went to his funeral (he passed in his late70s) I found out he is a decorated Vietnam vet; he never talked about it to anyone outside his home and never participated in veteran events that I knew of; we got along well cuz we worked together and lived pretty close to each other only a few blocks away. Real tough guys don't brag about their exploits.

Really appreciate you taking on the onerous job of slapping these pathetic people back into humility. Human nature for some people to want to elevate their social status and try and rise above the rest using words. My stepfather was in the Canadian navy, and many of his close friends and colleagues lost their lives to the icy Atlantic waters during world war 2. I had to work hard to get him to share some of the good stories, the good memories of those times to make sure he knew that the things he and his generation did are acknowledged and appreciated. I don’t think those men thought it was anything special, It was something needed and so they did. Isn’t it ironic that the men and women who are are real heroes and leaders , are not the people standing first in line to benefit from their work. The reality is very sad, if not tragic and these people are often forgotten living their last days alone and unheralded. R.I.P. Decorated Lcdr, CD, RCN Douglas Andrew, Potter

As the son of a retired Navy veteran ( father was a chef sonar technician) Navy submarine service. I love watching your videos these idiots need to be called out. I believe it is a slap in the face to those who served are still serving. Also the families that have sacrificed holidays birthdays and many times the loved one themselves. Thank you to all service men and women keep up the wonderful work your doing for this country. I myself tried to enlist in the military but was unable to get in. I do have one small 0:01 question for you if you don’t mind? You are very good at what you do and have a lot of experience as well as resources at your disposal to do what you do. I am wondering however was there ever a time when you were wrong when you called a person out? Again just curious. Again please keep up the great work these people need to be stopped and unfortunately it doesn’t seem like they are afraid of the stolen valor laws so someone needs to do something.

Sir, watching your videos has brought back memories of my uncle Gerald Rose, who was a frogman during the Korean war. It was around 1967 when i first met him. I was 5 at the time. He came home due to a knee injury and stayed with us during his rehab. He was the most intriguing and scary at the same time person I ever met. Always had a smile and a joke BUT HIS EYES NEVER SMILED. He never talked about his service but had a few stories he would tell. And I was wondering when the frogmen were first inserted into the Vietnam war, because he said when they got over there the South Vietnamese were doing things that later became seal training. You remind me of my uncle Gerry, and I appreciate what you have done and what you do. After hearing just a few of his stories about him and his buddies, I would never imagine someone thinking they could walk that walk and talk that talk.
