Stolen Truck Recovered From Deep Canyon! (And this one isn’t fake 😂)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I got a call from the owner of a stolen truck that was recently located by law enforcement after it had been launched off the edge of a steep mountain. He was happy that his truck was found, but it was in a very rugged spot in the National Forest. So Grumpy and I took the 4x4 wrecker up the mountain and were able to get his 4Runner back out of the canyon and then down the mountain without any additional damage beyond what happened to it when it was shoved off the edge.
When we say we’re going to recover a stolen truck, it’s not just a fake setup so we can sell you something like a certain other channel 😂

When I say that we’re going to recover a stolen truck, it’s because we’re actually going to recover a stolen truck. Not just making you sit through a fake setup with horrible acting so we can sell you something…. 😂 #ifyouknowyouknow

No drama no staging, just old boys having fun while working and cleaning 🧼🧹 the cliffs
Not to worry, Casey, I've been watching your videos since the beginning and never once have I suspected that they were in any way setup or fake. You, your family and Grumpy are the real deal! Nice to see you getting so much use out of your "new" wrecker. Keep it coming!

I noticed some channels I'm subscribed to create click bait vids just to get more hits/activity on their channel. (Hmmm?) The nice thing about this rescue is that the customer gets their vehicle back and possibly enjoy it some more.
What makes your videos so enjoyable is that the title is what you will be viewing. No sensationalism, tricks or gimmicks. What you read is what you get. Fun, entertaining and also educational recovery video. Thanks for making them.
Always nice to see Grumpy on your videos. Great recovery Casey. Thanks for sharing.
Casey, You and "Grumpy" are a warm spot in my day. THANKL YOU BOTH.
This is a young man's operation. Once down the side of that cliff and I would be out for a week. Glad you are in good shape Casey.

I could get down, maybe with the help of gravity 😂, but getting back up threw all that brush and the steep climb, I might need a winch to drag me up. Then, turn on the oxygen and stick it in my face!

@@bluegrallis I understand completely. I have already had two heart attacks. Plus I worked retail for almost 30 years. Every floor I walked on the base was concrete. I am one of the few who hasn't had hip or knee replacement surgery. At times my knees are like Lewis Grizzard's Chili Dogs.
Casey, you are a strange person in these times, you say what you are going to do, you do what you said you are going to do, without being boastful, just with pride in a job well done.
Wonderful to see Grumpy on a rescue again AND better still to hear his flexibility in the “new” knee is coming along really well. Stunning scenery again Casey thank you. ❤️🇦🇺🇺🇸
Love the appreciation of the beauty of nature every time you cross that bridge
Wow that was impressive that tow trucks got power!! Thanks for making that!!
Watching Casey and Grumpy do stuff... on a Saturday morning. A great way to wake up!
Happy to hear grumpy's knee is getting better, nice recovery on the 4 runner
Casey, I'm grateful for all your "make the world a better place" activities - and truly enjoy the beauty of these natural scenes!
GREAT JOB! Glad see you & Grumpy out causing trouble together. Good news Grumpy's knee is getting better Positive thoughts that he will continue to gain strength & healing.
Casey & Grumpy do stuff😊❤ Big bump😂 That was a very steep recovery!😳 Excellent job as always, keep up the great work! Stay safe out there!❤️🙏
My dad had his knee replaced many yrs ago and did not do his exercises and he never walked again. So you really have to fight through the pain and just do it. Love the videos!
Grumpy is awesome. It’s a blessing to have elders like him in your life.
Casey and grumpy always make a fantastic team and you take good care of that knee grumpy so glad that it’s starting to feel better
I hope you and your neighbors are safe from the fire and if you have to evacuate you have safe places to go. Be well, be blessed, be kind.
Well done you two. Just love the comaradary between you TWO. It's so good to have friends like that. Another great rescue. One I really enjoyed. Hope you and all the family 💓 are well. Regards Peter T Wales UK.
Glad you had someone with you on this recovery
Casey and grumpy do stuff!!! Good morning and thanks for another amazing video and stay safe
what a great recovery Casey! Always exciting when Grumpy is part of the trip! glad to hear the knee is doing better!
That was an awesome recovery of that 4 runner. Good job.
Glad to hear you are doing the exercises, Grumpy! My wife has had both knees done over the last two years and was diligent with the work. Now she walks pretty much whenever and wherever she wants.

Steven Waldrop-----It is incredible how good the surgeons are at doing that work . My wife had her left knee done on March 4 ,2022 , and now in September 2022, she is up to walking 2+ miles a day , including some small hills . As you mentioned , doing the work was key . Don`t do too much . Don`t do too little .
I ran a wrecker very similar to that in the 90's. I was always amazed how much grunt they have for such a relatively small truck.

I ran a 1995 F450 with a powerstroke that was very similar. It could pull everything but you never got anywhere fast. Sadly it was stolen but then I moved up to an 07 Ram 3500 with a 6.7 cummins. That thing was fast but it only had a single line integrated bed with no boom so it was hard to do recoverys.
You've had some great recoveries but this one is my all-time favorite. Great job Casey and Grumpy.
I used snatch blocks on my F-550 and Expedition but a twin cable boom setup was a education for me with that snatch block,, ooppps, I learned a new trick today. Thanks.
Good morning Casey and Grumpy! And about your knee Grumpy , it definitely is not an easy process to go through. I know for me when I had mine replaced it had gotten to the point where I could barely walk and the pain was beyond bad. One thing that helped to get me thorough the recovery was that I kept in mind that had I not had the knee replaced I would not be able to walk at all. You are doing good and definitely keep at it with your exercises, the more time that goes by the better it will get. Hang in there and thumbs UP to you Grumpy. 👍

I didn't have any trouble walking, because of my knee until I was in a car wreck in 2008. After 3 months in the hospital with both legs broke right below my knees, and 6 months with a fixator on my right leg, my right knee was locked up about 20 degrees from straight. The doctor that put my leg back together said the bone was damaged too much to do a knee replacement, and the cartilage was ruined for any hope of pain free walking. He said if I did manage to walk again 😮, he would have to straighten my leg, and fuse the knee, so I found another doctor. A year and a half after the wreck, I spent a couple days in the U of Iowa hospital after a LONG surgery. most of 3 hours removing scare tissue, then an extra long lower section for my "new knee', all while using a tourniquet on my thigh, because I was on blood thinners. It was a long process of 7 months of PT just to get to where I could walk with crutches. I have been walking without even a cane, for almost 10 years now. Keep up with the PT Grumpy, it's the best thing to get you back to better than before, for sure.

My wife had a knee replacement on March 4 , 2022 . The recovery does involve doing the exercises they prescribe . Now , in September 2022 , 6 months after the surgery , she is up to walking 2 + miles a day , including some small hills . The key seems to be doing the exercises exactly as they ask . Don`t do more . Don`t do less .
Wonderful day on the recovery and wonderful news about grumpy's leg with exercise. You sure can bring brightness to a person's day with such good news . Keep yourself safe and warm (because it is 53 now in Colorado), and keep the great channel going.

I hope the comment about you not setting up your tows was not for something I have written. I never implied your tows were set up and only view them as ligimiate. If I had any thoughts that you were fake I wouldn't be watching,
Good vid as usual. So your catch phrase is "i never said i was good at this,' but your pretty dam good at this. Its great to see you and Grumpy out and about. You two always have great interaction and you can see that he enjoys it a lot. Looking forward to the next video, and definitely the snow recoveries to come.
Thank you Casey. That hook up was brilliant . Your videos are turning Grumpy in to a super star male model that will melt the pants off the ladies😂😂😂
Awesome video, glad Grumpy was there with you, can't do without him!
It is a shame 😢 some people are so destructive. Love your channel ❤️
I've had three knee replacement (one twice but it still lasted ten years) . I honestly don't even noticed the difference anymore. Best wishes to all. Great channel!
I enjoy your videos and the often educational ones. I have been watching you for a long time now, close to when you first started and you’re not the kind of person who fakes anything. You’re not willing to fake it for advertising and that’s all the evidence I need to believe everything is genuine real
The Dynamic Duo to the rescue once again ! 😎
Great recovery. Glad you are doing better Grumpy, love your videos and commentary.
Once again a win for the team of Casey and Grumpy. Love you two. Appreciate what you do and how you go about it. That was really not such a bad recovery since you do have the tool/truck to do the hard jobs. Enjoyed the video as always. Peace Out.
God bless you Casey and your friends for what you do to help out people as well as the environment by picking up trash that other people leave behind. 🙂❤❤
Spectacular weather and scenery for this recovery.
Great recovery. When you got the right equipment the job is easier. Great video
Awesome job....excellent rigging.....perfect equipment....wonderful outcome !!! Keep up the great work with Grumpy.
The fridge thing will only work if you can set it up to dump it's heat on the outside of the cabin, otherwise it'll be a heater instead of an AC. But maybe you already thought about that! Thanks for another great video!

I'm so happy that Ben found this truck and you now own it perfect fit. It's good to see grumpy doing better keep up your pt. There is no way that any of your videos are staged. I just don't understand why people are so destructive to steel a man's vehicle just to run it off a cliff hopefully he can repair it. Your doing awesome work Casey God bless and as always be safe 👍
That was a good one! Thanks for taking me along.
Good job getting it back up the hill and back to the customer!
When I see this rescue, I think how bloody the skin on my aged arms would be after wading through all that knarly sharp brush, up and down that hill with submerged logs in the brush. I think I would want to be with Grumpy. Good job. You always seem to have great planning. (Seven P's)
Casey this was an interesting video in my opinion. I will say going up and down that steep hill you definitely got your exercise in without a doubt. Keep up the great work
Just a great beautiful view from there! Great recovery Casey and Grumpy(not so grumpy for this video)!
Good Casey 👍. I have learned a thing or two watching you work. Thank you. Keep going Grumpy it does get better with time.

Great recovery video Casey snd Grumpy. Yeah, climbing up and down that hill would have wore me out! As always, your explanation on how your going to hook up the cables with the snatch block is informative. Great the knee is getting better Grumpy. Your e always been ba Straight shooter Casey. 🤙😎
Great scenery good job on the recovery nice to see Grumpy getting around
Nice recovery love the work you do have a good one
Hey Grumpy. I am 1 year out from knee replacement and just this month I actually feel almost normal with my walking, standing and getting up from kneeling on the ground. Find out what you can do without hurting and then keep doing it. Some like riding stationary bike, others like excise, and for me it was just keep moving and pushing forward. Now I only have to do it for 1 more knee. I am 74.
As usual great job, the thing I love from your channel and you and your recovery you go well prepare compare to other channel that’s important. You work safely 10 out of 10.
-"Don't fall down that hill!" -"Hey! You got the stuff to pull me back up." LOL Grumpy
Just like a walk through the tulips. Good job guys.
From one Grumpy to another. Have an awesome day. Wish I was there too.
That spade is a valuable anchor. I wonder if others would like to see you in the chain toss event. They could schedule it after the three legged race at the county fair! It is great to see grumpy is doing so well with his PT.
Keep up the great work! Love watching you and your old truck work.
I like the idea of leaving it in park with the brake on. At first I wasn't sure but your explanation made good sense 👍.

I have video adhd. But 99% of the time l do my recoveries w/ the rig in park. So they don’t roll down hill just in case or roll into the wrecker …

That experience is what prevents the oops moments. I never thought about being sure the vehicle won't move either direction. That is why you hire the professionals. Good job Casey and Grumpy and glad you knee is improving.
The scenery down there is amazing👀😁
Morning Casey ! Morning Grumpy ! Morning everyone !
I have a 1980 f350 wrecker with a Holmes 440 with 2 30k winches. I don't own a recovery business, but man is it handy to have lol. That's a nice wrecker you've got yourself
Good morning and great job with this recovery. Appreciate the explanation of how and why as always, good knowledge to have.
"Hey! You got that stuff to pull me back up" =))
Good morning Casey and Grumpy! Another cool video with the awesome wrecker crew.
That tow truck has been a good investment
That's a awesome truck. Perfect setup
Good morning, Casey and Grumpy, Great job fellas...

They sure got a biggun didn't they!
Even when people try to destroy them, 4Runners just won't die. Shame on whoever did that.
just before you put the extra chain on the frame for extra safety i was thinking what would happen if the hitch gave way on any of these rescues. Good to see u got it covered
I really like that winch trick especially since it gives you a 2-1 pull up to just before your max length.
Always nice to see the grumpster!
👍👍👍👍👍, That double winch pull with the sheave was pretty good idea!
Nothing like a rear view mirror that size. Love it...
Good job. The new tow truck did a good job! ...and you!
Thanks for the smile. Have a great weekend
Your tow truck is so good lookin it makes me want to get one just like it. I don't want to do any recoveries, just want to have a truck like that. --- Thanks for the fun upload. ---
Nice recovery ! A tricky one at that and treacherous with all that brush to get threw , bet you was whooped after you got done ? Thanks for sharing your adventures with us Sir I find them very enjoyable ! ✌️❤️🙏
Greetings from Spain to Casey and Grumpy, a spectacular job as always, congratulations to both of you for your work and thank you very much for sharing it with all of us. About Grumpy's knee I dare to recommend him to take hyaluronic acid capsules, obviously they don't work miracles but they help a lot in this kind of ailments, I know from my own experience. Greetings to all the other followers of the channel and good work!
Great to see Grumpy good to know his knee is getting better, the adventures of Casey & Grumpy. Casey are you allowed to remove brush when recovering, or are you expected to keep as much as the environment intact. Got to love your office Casey, spectacular scenery 🏞 expertly done, thanks for sharing 😊👍
Beautiful place you live in.
Great job Casey and Grumpy....
Gotta love old iron....and grumpy and his new fangled knee are moving around pretty good. Always heard riding stationary bikes do wonders with rehab on replaced knees. And I can't wait to see the tracked wrecker crushing it this winter.
Just recently discovered your videos. I've lived in Bend since '81' . It's fun trying to guess the location of your recoveries. This one looks like Tumalo Falls area.
Saw your robot in the water video and now this. I’m now a subscriber 👍🏻
I like you and Grumpy videos 2nd to best, 1st bestest is you and your daughter!!
Hey Casey. Remember to back that bolt out half a turn 😂😂😂
That's a very capable wrecker. Needs the duallies for this load.
Good morning Grumpy! and Casey😊
God I love seeing old ford brick nose boom trucks still out working. so badass.
Smart rigging Casey. 👍🏼🤙🏼💪🏼
Another great job. You certainly got your workout that day!
Back up, back down, back up again - the story of a recovery person's life. Not sure you had much to worry about if you released parking brake and cable let go - don't think it would roll 10 ft. in that brush! You and the tow truck did a great job - retrieved truck, not too badly damaged, no one got hurt, good day!
