The station you said was Cresswell was in fact Leigh apart from this great bit of archive film thanks for posting

Excellent vid. I travelled that line a lot in the late ‘60’s and the stations were still there but most of them closed. My dad was a Traffic Controller in Stoke Power Box. He’d have loved to have watched that film. Superb! 👍

from Stoke-on-Trent to Uttoxeter we drive along the A500 towards M6 Motorway, we drive along the A50 towards Uttoxeter, we drive along the A522 towards Uttoxeter.
