I was at the game, your fans were great. I like to see fans like yourselves, real fans, supporting a football club because you love the club, not just because they win trophies like United 'FANS'

Im a Sunderland fan and we make some noise away like but that is unbelievable great respect for you.

class, from a wolves fan. This and keepp right on are the best two anthems. MIdlands support is the best in the league, apart from WBA who are poor at times but not compared to most clubs

The atmosphere in a Stoke end is one you will only find in a handful of clubs nowadays, which I respect, but there isn't any fucking chance of finding that at United or Arsenal ect...

@safclegend92 To be fair there are reasons for that in 2009/10 it was a monday night game so there's no going to be many going up north, and this season just gone it was in the grip of the snow, so again reduced numbers.

Support from Stoke away from home may have dropped but i am there every game! :D #SCFC

English fans are going down the pan. I'm Forest and our support is nowhere near what it used to be. A few short years back we made great noise home and away. At the City Ground, they've killed off the A Block with stewarding where all the noisy, die-hard supporters were. All this 'family' bullshit

I have to admit, Stoke were one of the loudest sets of fans i've heard about 5/6 years ago. I'm a Sunderland fan, was always a quality atmosphere at both grounds when we played.

went to birmingham tuesday with the mk dons and the birmingham fans were so quiet i thought some one had died, dons took 1150 fans and out sang birmingham all game even when we went down 3-0 in 4 mins.

yeah there is a reason mate. a stoke fan a fair few years back always sang delilah. on his own and tried to get every1 singing it with him. as time grew on, more and more began to sing it. until it became our anthem. so iv been told anyway

When Stoke first came to SOL in prem, it was so loud, when they had 3,000 but their away su[pport has dropped in numbers considerably

@magnet101 i'm not a stoke fan, im a rangers man. Its a good song and in this day and age it doesn't matter where songs originate from. Cardiff sing about the ayatolla and thats from Iran. Celtic sing YNWA and thats from liverpool. Liverpool sing songs that are heard in the continent like the torres song,etc. All have no affinity to those areas. Infact " down with the pompey" is to the tune of a spanish nursery ryhme. Fans adopt chants and sing them, thats just how football works now.

The ground was nowhere near as loud as it used to be last season. we're still loyal and passionate though.. 37,000 in a championship game and 42,000 expected against Sheffield Wed tomorrow, says it all really

yes ok we had lower attendances in the championship but having nothing but relegation and cup runs ended in the first round we didnt have much celebrate about so 16k dont sound too bad...no team sits in football wilderness for 25 years and has 20+ attendances FACT Loudest fans and will be next year..WE ARE STAYING UP

im a stoke fan and i guess we can blow our own horn hear becuse ive bin every away game this season and we do have the loudest fans in the prem by far. and we take loads away as well. we would of taken 7,000 to that game if it wasn't for the bell end police. but the 4,000+ was still good

A really tough game I thought, I know we ended up winning it but it was a crazy end that! Hope you weren't one of the nobs trying to invade our end after we won it!
