Still working out where the sweet spot is with this rifle.

You should try removing the baffles out of the moderator to see if it's clipping

Wouldn't mind trying a normal barrel, but I will look at the end of this one and see if it could be causing issues. These are budget rifles after all, so not much in the way of quality control.

Not the first PCP air gun that I've heard of, that's a little wonky on the first few shots, when you've got the tank pumped up to max pressure - then settles down, once the tank pressure gets to a range, where the regulator is happy and starts working consistently. Also wouldn't be the first rifle, whether air or "conventional", that's picky about what type of ammo you feed it. Like you said in your pinned comment, just going to take some time on the range, to work out where the sweet spot is, as far as air pressure, and what type of ammo it's most accurate with.

Part of the fun I suppose, well for me anyway. I guess some people would like it to shoot well out of the box, but at the price of these you might be lucky. For me, I love the challenge of getting it to shoot right. Everyone keeps saying JSB are the way to go for this gun, will get hold of some to try.
