This was not the TV prog. Only two cameras, the first Stocks covered. We covered Stocks F1 & F2 for 8 years 1984 to 2002.

The camera man did his best not to show the leaders

Take some back does that, I was there. There's better footage that follows the leaders, you see Len Wolfenden threw that away. He took approx 4 laps to lap Nigel Hardy which allowed Mellor & Smith to close right up.

It would have been better if the camera man pointed the camera at the leaders instead of abandoned cars in the fence.

Bloody awful camera work even for back then, concentrating on leader and crashes only God knows how it ever got on tv back then its terrible!
