Lewis is close behind but, he can get beaten from time to time because Mercedes share their data and engineers to enhance unity and team spirit. You have to understand that when Hamilton started in F1, he was in Ron´s Mclaren. A team so tight that drivers had to always be shaved, immaculate trim and well dressed and no tattoos and always say the right thing, never doubt, never question, etc etc. So Hamilton had to be that guy. Soon he changed to Mercedes you could see him starting to open up. That mentality in Mclaren was what made Raikkonen change to Ferrari (also because how Mclaren blew an engine every two races).

I’ll never forget his first F1 start for McLaren alongside Alonso in Albert Park - he qualified behind him but made a better start overtaking him into the first corner - a rookie beating the two time world champion and making it look like he had being doing it for years - I felt so proud and have had the privilege of watching virtually his whole F1 career - the highs and the lows and honestly I believe he is the best to ever do it.

F1 can we please get a gp2/f2 archive on F1TV? I would love to be able to see the full race replay of this race and many others, seems that you still have the footage laying around, would be massively appreciated

I look at this guy and I just feel so proud that he has achieved everything that he has. He deserves every last bit of it!
