Strongest engine or not, theres no doubt that watching Torch play is a thing of beauty. Hell, engine chess in general is absolutely gorgeous to behold. There is something uniue about every top engine's method of play - Alphazero's aggressive striving for victory, Stockfish's depth and insight in the calm of the storm, Leela's endurance to survive and now Torch's creative and unorthodox play.

I love how stockfish just analyzes his game afterwards and is like “ye I f***ed up”

My takeaway is that sacking a rook to open a diagonal for both of your bishops is a good move, and there is absolutely no need to fear undeveloping a knight so you can move a pawn to that square. As long as you can calculate 20+ moves accurately

The glasses is because he had drank an unfathomable amount of alcohol and now is suffering from the the most horrific of hangovers

It's amazing how he manage to make chess so enjoyable to watch and listen, almost like big sports events, not only in this particular video but in all long and short format videos. I just encountered one of his shorts and it made me back to chess after 14 years and watch videos for pure fun. Keep up the good work, and i will get out of here :D
