That is absolutely unbelievable. I worked for a small engine guy and he told me back in the early 90's that engines come with about 50% of their possible power. He would port, polish, headwork to gain more without the decrease in reliability.

Ive got a Husky 50 rancher that I put a big bore kit on that Im hoping to get the exact same results with. The numbers on the cylender are pretty crazy though. 110 ex and 68 in.

Im so torn between a 4910 and 550xp. Ive got several big ported saws but i need a 50cc lightweight saw my old 951 olympyk just aint cutting it but cant decide which one i want to play with. Hell sometimes they dont even see wood before I port them. I would love to know the port numbers on that mean 461 of yours. Ive got the 2 port stuff down to a science but the long transfer is kinda new to me.

550 is faster out of box but it prolly crap out the crank barrings 4910 ported is sweet an very durable

Yep they gain good to just not as much as 4910 but shud be able to get 4.5 to5hp out of one

that one seemed piss poor stock. normally better than that, i guess it is 3/8 s and cherry can be pretty hard. I guess wasn't broken in and sounded very rich. Nice job on porting as usual though👍

This is so disgusting. The epa has really restricted the industry. My father used to say regulation costs money. For real! Just think where we would be right now if we didnt have the restrictions. Cheaper, more reliable, more power and more user friendly saws.
