Blistering pace, stunning musicianship!Bravissimo
I love how the violinist has the cold dead eyes of a killer, every ounce of outward facial expression and brain power converted into creativity and musical expression. Fantastic.

So many outstanding jazz guitarists performing today and Stochelo Rosenberg is certainly very high up on the list. This number swings like jazz is supposed to swing!
Can I just say that Rocky's solo is majestic and I must hear more of this guy.

holy crap Rocky Gresset is a monster, and surprisingly the best part of his solo is the chord melody crazy rhythm part where he is using the sus chords chromatically over the dominant bridge section and winds up with that crazy 3 or 4 chord box rhythm part around minute 4-5, I mean gawd damn man, that might be one of the coolest things I have heard in awhile

those chords coming out of the bridge are so hip and classic rocky
The violin is absoluty out of off the box!!! Fantasic!!
Everyone is outstanding, the violin is really something. But the bass is what I found amazing really
Rocky's solo is 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
OMG A truly magnificent display of music, these guys are unbeatable and top of their tree!
The HONO'S Machine is full!
Bravo Rocky!!
Fiddle absolutely killed it.
This is the way I'd want Caravan played if I had written it. Yeah, I wish I HAD written it.
Not that I’m anywhere close, but this video makes it clear that no matter how long or hard I practice, I’ll never be better than third best guitarist in the world lol
Great really enjoyed this thanks
What can I say !! These Guys are always brilliant ! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Made my day!
úžasní hudobníci ste 🙂 ♥
They are the best

I know your post is from a year ago, but ... should you be considering Django's festival at Samois (now Fontainebleau) don't think twice, it's allright! I went there twice, the 'ambience' (as they say in French) is worth the money and effort, no matter the line up.
Magnifique 🎶💓🎶
Amazing Musicians and Amazing Music😀

Merci go on rolling stones and muddy waters please💖💯🙏👍🌈🌈❤️
that violin guy is not from this dimension ... seriously that sounds as legendary as the old Django grappelli recs
He kinda knows how to play a little.
Not quite my tempo ...
Fantastic music but the video editing is terrible. It is chopped into little pieces and thrown at the viewer like a handful of confetti. Yuck!
violin was weird :D
sound hole is too small on that guitar -- not enough projection

I am late reacting to the comments. It is appropriate to say research all these artists before putting your foot in your mouth. You lack familiarity with this guitar design and the impact it had on manouche. Have you ever listened to Django? Do you understand that the “chonk” is elemental to this genre? The design enabled players to provide rhythm and percussion simultaneously. The same thing happened in Western Swing with the rhythm guitarist an Bluegrass with both the guitar and banjo. Many times these players couldn’t afford a drummer, or the cumbersome necessity carrying the instrument around. I guess that isn’t apparent nowadays. I love the guitar, and it’s usually the first reason I watch videos, but the comment about the violinist is uncalled for. To build a torrid arrangement, it is helpful to have a counterpoint, in this case the violin to propel the guitar leads. All music is that way. Some gypsy jazz uses accordion in the same manner. Remove that counterpoint and the sameness of the presentation dulls, it’s why a lot of metal just becomes thousands of mindless notes. The phrasing here appears largely spontaneous. Delightful. If you enjoy and understand it, great. If you don’t, try to keep your uninformed opinion to yourself. Go listen to you Justin Bieber CDs.
Скрипач какую то фигню играл если честно))
Violinist should have stayed home.
OOOOOOHHHH WOW. The most amazing with that stuff there, that these guys mastered the idea of D.Ellington. Making the listener feel as if he would actually ride there with a gipsy carvan. As i close my eyes whist listening i can see the dogs running between the carreges, as the horses go passing by one another and stuff...... great great respect to these awesome musicians............
This could be the best gypsy caravan cover I’ve ever heard!😁
Astounding talent all around, and that violin. Holy smokes. That's swing with soul.
Absolutely magnificent. Thank you for the pleasure and inspiration
This is pretty awesome guys
William Brunard on the bass! He does half of the whole work! ;-)

Yes
Stochelo laughs at 6:34 because the other guitarist quotes the first line of Stochelo's solo from the Rosenberg Trio's recording of Caravan (from the album Caravan)
