Hi David thank you for your comment. Yes The Cheviot is my local hill and always the tough terrain is good preparation for these Scottish mountains. Back up north in a couple of weeks so will have to upload some footage of the walks. Thank you for watching and take care. Mick.

Well done Mick they two look a bit of a rough slog eh? And thanks for the head's up on the path for the route down will get to them one day but dont fancy that terrain after a good few days rain. Cheers Mick, peter :)

Thank's Peter this was after a good dry spell and it was still boggy especially off Chno Dearg. I think heading up the nose of Sgriodian would be a lot better route but because of the clag and crags to negotiate, I thought it better to head to the bealach above the lochan and backtrack to the summit from there. Yes keep to the right/east of the stream you meet coming down, it's a lot drier with a faint path. Take care. Mick.
