This is a practice for mental health, and spiritual wellbeing - a gift for both mind and body. Stillness can be challenging, but that is why this is a practice. Join me, practice dropping in, and welcome clarity and peace now.
This meditation session is a beautiful way to start or end your day. It is also excellent post active workout or when you may have a turbulent mind and could use a break, a breath of fresh air.
This gentle mindfulness practice is a gift and it’s here for you. You are invited to slow down, experience peace, and just be.

    I loved it, but maybe I’m getting older, when I seat for long period of time and tried to relax, I feel my back hurts and as I try to relax it doesn’t feel good. Maybe because I usually practice in the morning right when I woke up, it was great before, but now I feel I need to do some stretch before I can seat still! Was good anyway to have a moment of pause!

    I had to go to my VA Hospital for some work on my knee…..the meditation helped me to be composed and balanced and not afraid….thank you so much 🌸

    I absolutely adore this youtube channel. Yoga saved my life. I was so depressed and anxious and nothing I did helped until I discovered yoga with Adriene. She's nurturing in her approach and has taught me so much in so little time. There truly is no better medicine than practicing yoga. We are all humans on this earth stuck in the soul sucking cycle of capitalism, but with yoga i can wash that all away. Nothing here but me and my body and a computer screen that transports me to peace. Thank you for all that you do, it is so greatly appreciated.

    I don't know why but I was feeling overwhelmed with all kind of emotions and thoughts for the past two days and I didn't even wanted to leave my bed but then I saw this video and to be honest I got emotional while doing this I don't know why but this definitely helped and reminded me why I should keep doing yoga ❤️ Love from India .     Beautiful meditation practice for starting a day but I felt surprised that after the practice I wanted cry a little, I don’t know why. Anyway, I’m still grateful for all the feelings and whole community from all over the world practicing yoga with Adriene with me. ❤️🙏

    Absolutely beautiful and perfect, what a mindful start to Monday morning here in the UK. I’ve got the flu at the moment so feeling grotty and unable to do my daily practice on the mat.     This was a perfect way to slow down my thoughts. I have been experiencing a lot of panic attacks due to the anniversary of my father’s passing coming up. This practice helped me realize I just need a few moments to be able to gather myself and acknowledge my feelings at the same time. Thank you Adrienne!

    I don’t know why but I really dozed off for some minutes during the practice. Adriene’s voice was so calm that I just can’t help. It felt so good when I paired it up with fiery practice of upper body flow of May calendar. I just can’t express how much I love you Adriene! You and yoga are the bestest things that happened to me.     i vividly remember when this video was released as it coincided with a life saving decision to dedicate myself to all things mindful. I was just becoming familiar with the basics of the practice & had only a slight grasp of what it meant to drop into stillness, never mind what stillness actually meant.Your other meditations as well as your yoga teachings baffled me when you used terms like "see what comes up." I wanted to let you know that you were highly instrumental during the start in my quest for awareness and I'm sure I'm not the only one with whom you resonated. I appreciate how you Incorporated your knowledge of mindfulness into our yoga practice. That said, I felt I had struck gold when you told me us we'd be ending with my a body scan. I come back to this all the time thank you from the bottom of my heart and thank you for being you how often do you hear that a lot yes? Well I hope so with you deserve it ❤️

    WONDER ❄ | December 16, 2023 | Such a perfect practice to still the rush of the holiday prep. The body scan is particularly effective in bringing in the stillness. I was so relaxed after that I felt like taking a nap, alas I did this mid day and have things to do, but I feel I will do them slower and more mindfully after this. 🙏

    Breathe day 9 December 2022 - I did it! Meditations are so hard for me but I did it laying on my back and I made it through the end. Truly felt like I was meditating.

    I did this beautiful stillness practice before, and loved it. This time I feel it was even better, then before. I feel calm, renewed, and ready to get on eith my day. In doing this practice today, I felt myself slowly with each breath, slipping in to exquisite bliss, with just you, me , and my breath. Now that I have a new challenge in my life: I adopted a senior dog and today was her first day & night at my home.     WOW!!! This was everything. It felt like my body took a huge sigh of relief for giving myself this meditation practice. After Adriene guided us through the scan of our body I felt like I was floating. I decided to do this before bed in my dark room laying down and I feel so calm and thankful. My goal is to incorporate this at least once a week. In such a busy world being still for just a few minutes can do wonders. Thank you so so much for this Adriene!

While I'm not a newbie to meditation nor am I an expert, I found it relatively easy to still myself, choosing to sit with with my palms up) and felt my body grow heavy and present, bringing my attention back to my breath when my mind wandered. I definitely take my body for granted when I'm not practicing yoga or participating in a meditation, and I know I should and can do better, so I feel less stressed and anxious during the day. With your help, I know I can be and feel better. Thank you, Adriene.

    Thank you for facilitating this beautiful space and journey into stillness, Adriene and Benji! Just recovering from a long illness and found this video .. I found myself gently laughing, smiling , particularly as soon as you mentioned paying attention to the mouth. Havent felt this zen/chilled in a very looong time. Namaste.

    Blessed Beloved Beauties! Wonder Day - 16 is pleasant. It was nice to see this meditation 🧘🏿on the calendar again. It has been exactly 1 year since I last practiced this session. It was tranquil, refreshing, and relaxing. I'm a busy person, therefore, I needed this stillness meditation today. Now, it's late in the evening in my time zone 8:30 P.M. and I chose to do a late meditation this Saturday. However, I'm about to do an Asana practice 🧘🏿, calisthenics 🤸🏿, run🏃🏿 and weight training.🏋🏿 I am really focused for this late evening work out. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋❤🦋

    dear community, please keep me in your thoughts. nothing's horribly wrong, i just moved to a new country for school and i haven't felt grounded yet. it's a new language, new culture, new life, new weather patterns and new people. it's only been a week and a half and i'm thinking maybe i shouldn't beat myself up so hard about it and that of course it feels like this and house hunting is never easy, so i'm praying for that stillness so that i can stay sane. although i was too tense to do this peacefully, i'm happy i spent some time, to give my busy mind a break. perhaps the next time, i will be still.

    Day 643 For the last 2 months I've been doing yoga mechanically, picked the shortest practices just to stick to the everyday practice. I feel like I've lost the spirit and I do this because "I have to" not because I need or want to. I don't know how to fall in love with this again

    Is it possible to let go of your daily yoga streak and try a different form of movement for a few days? I started a daily yoga practice in late April because I had all sorts of random chronic pains and following the YWA calendar greatly reduced my chronic pain to nonexistent. However September was a hard month with my daughter going back to school and getting sick twice in a month. The 2nd time I didn't do YWA for a few days because her sickness turned everything upside down for us for that week. My other piece of advice is try doing yoga in a different location. I normally do it in my living room, but it's nice to change things up and do it on my deck. Some days the best opportunity for me to do yoga is on the grassy patch next to the playground my daughter loves. It felt weird at first, especially because the playground is on a busy street, but it's been interesting trying to connect with my breath and the few trees around me while I hear cars zooming down the street and can see parts of the strip mall next to the playground. I hope you can find some joyful movement again.

    I recently retired from my job after an unusually stressful couple of years. I’ve been doing yoga using your videos since January and this has been a life saver for me. Adjusting to a slower routine has been great. Today I did one of your morning flow videos first thing, went for a long swim, did some gardening then this one. It’s great, thank you! Life is good 🙏

    Thank you Adriene for this calming meditation, I really feel the inner peace! Meditating following the daily yoga practice from the beginning of this calendar literally helped stay still today for 15 minutes to be aware of our breath while scanning our body! Love and peace to all❤🥰❤

    This is the first meditation I've done with Adriene, and can I say, I love her approach! The body scan felt like a mental massage for myself and the reminders to relax my jaw and even to relax my tongue we're so excellently on point, it was just what I needed on a streeful day
