He bamboozled opposition players left right and centre with his sharpened skills and raw improvisations. He was a not just a maestro, he was not just a magician, he was Zinedine Zidane, and that said it all. 100s of players have better stats than him, but unfortunately for them only a few were hand picked by God to come and hypnotise the mass with their talent in football. Zidane Zidane, was one of the chosen.

@@marcryan7800 but I'm not saying he is better. I'm saying it is crazy to judge right now as we have seen Zidane play out his whole career already. You can't compare him to a player who is 21 and really just getting started... He is literally a child. What I can say is that he is playing and turning out match winning performances on the biggest stage. That cannot be overlooked... I'm just enjoying what he has to offer and for me, comparisons can wait.

Comme on vibrait des jours à l'avance quand devait avoir lieu un match de l'équipe de France. Zidane était un magicien et tout était possible avec lui. Jamais un joueur ne m'a autant électrisé. Chaque match avec lui était une fête tant il était en harmonie avec le ballon et tant il entraînait les autres de l'équipe vers le meilleur. Je crois que jamais plus on ne reverra ça.
