The lore of the cinematic as i take it: In first scene we see Kayle and Morgana, they are fighting side by side both having their powers, when both of them are pushed to their limits Morgana gives away her powers as aspect of justice and binds Aatrox even if for a moment, then we can see Kayle taking Morgana powers representing her taking Morgana's sword and looking at her sister with disgust, when Morgana falls to the ground Kayle ascends and kills the host of Aatrox, we can see lamb in the flames showing his death. In the second scene we see bandits raiding ionian village and yasuo as old man standing his ground, each time he uses his power bondages on his arm unravel and at the end we can see his acceptance and kindred's arrow ending his life, we can see wolf in the shadows right before arrow falls. In the last scene we see Tryndamere fighting against a group of enemies, it is represented as him fighting kindred both wolf and lamb refusing to die, his red eyes represent his ability to become immortal for short period of time, in the final scene we can see kindred lowering her bow when ashe saves him from last enemies just in the moment he is about to die, seeing that its not the time to claim tryndamere, kindred disappears. This cinematic represents that death is timeless showing one scene from the past one from present and one from future, it also shows both aspects of kindred, when Aatrox's host dies we see lamb idle while wolf delivers the final blow, wolf hunts down those who resist death. When yasuo dies the wolf waits as the lamb's arrow is the final moment. Lamb brings peaceful death to those that accept it, tryndamere fights both wolf and the lamb defying natural order using his powers and in the end does so successfully avoiding death.

So for a lore breakdown this cinematic is incredible. The archer/lamb character with the ghost wolf is called kindred and is basically a representation death. When you see kindred or kindred comes for you it basically means your time is done. We see throughout the trailer imagery of arrows which is indication that kindred is always present and waiting. The man in the beginning is known as tryndamere, the barbarian king of the frieglord, and is currently on the presicipise of death. His fight with kindred is quite literally a his will live to and when his eyes turn red it is suppose to be a representation of his ultimate ability to become immortal for a short period of time. You can see kindred lowers her bow when she realizes tryndamere time is not yet over, which is shown by his wife/lover ashe coming to save him.

figuratively fighting death. Since the kindred battle was just a respresentation of him fighting the soldiers around him. Thats why kindred dissapears into a figment of reality when ash saves him from the soldiers i.e. saving him from death .

@@mjeid4835 He does get actual claw marks in his armor from Wolf, so he may have physically been fighting both the soldiers and Kindred.

This cinematic is one of the best I've seen in a while for sure. The key thing about this one is context, specially the warrior fighting the wolf, it has a beautiful meaning behind it. And the graphics bruh wtf was that.

what is badass more in tryndamere vs kindred is you can see at his eyes is red and it means the curse of the darkin is still at him so that's why lamb and wolf are so very aggressive because he is refusing life and dead

In the last scene in the frozen forest, the character with the big sword is Tryndamere who is fighting for his life (under his in-game ultimate ability that allows him to be unkillable for a few seconds indicated by the red eyes in the cinematic). His opponent is kindred, who is less of a character and more of a metaphor for death with two sides the dark and brutal side (wolf) and the peaceful accepting side (lamb - the one with the facemask and arrows). Once his partner Ashe (the archer) comes to his aide, the threat of death disappears, kindred is staved off, and his eyes return to normal. If it was confusing how that ended hope it helps.

Seeing other comments I thought of adding some info in case you are interested. The representation of Death, which are called Kindred (yes, both the Wolf and the Lamb) has 2 ways of "killing": if you refuse to accept your death, the Wolf hunts you down, like shown in the last part. Tryndamere, who is fighting for his life, is overcome by rage when he is close to dying, which prevents him from it, but he is not immortal, as his rage eventually calms down. That's why, when Lamb was about to kill him, she dissapeared as Ashe's arrows killed the last enemies, which were about to kill Tryndamere. The man of the "second part" of this cinematic, Yasuo (just in the future, after growing old), at the end of that part is shown accepting his death when lots of arrows were raining down on him, which is why we briefly see the arrow of the Lamb there. Lastly, the cinematic contains part of events which are in the past, future and present of the lore, in that order. Sorry if this was too long xd

The theme of the cinematic is death and mortality. Kindred (The Wolf and Lamb) are League's Grim Reaper. If you choose to die peacefully in your time and accept Lamb's arrow you will be granted a quick death, some cultures find this honorable like Demacians (The nation the valkyries founded and are defending) while others find it cowardly like Noxus or in the Freljord. Otherwise you can resist when Kindred comes for you and the Wolf will rip you to shreds and you will die a violent death. The red demonic man (Aatrox )fighting the two valkyrie looking women (Kayle/Morgana) wants to die but cannot because his spirit is trapped in the blade, he was once a hero but was driven insane after millenia fighting that fate, you can see the Lamb in Kayle's flames during the final shot before that part ends. The old samurai is actually League's most popular champ Yasuo. He's not that old yet in the game or current story progress, Riot is showing us a potential death for him years in the future. He could have blocked the arrow coming for him, but chose not to closing his eyes and accepting his fate. The final scene is the best, Tryndamere is a barbarian who because of Aatrox has the ability to resist death for a time as well, that fight between him and Kindred isn't literally happening, it's metaphysical, represents his struggle to not die because he was being surrounded by his tribes enemies and was on his last legs. Kindred saw it was not his time as ordained by fate because his wife (Ashe) saves him at the last minute and backs off, letting him live to fight another day.

There's alot of information here that you wouldn't get if you wasn't a player(Or engrossed in the lore) The premise is past, future and present The scene with the 2 sisters (Purple Morgana, Blonde Kayle) Fighting the big demon-looking thing (Aatrox) is set in the past and shows the beginning of the fracture between Morgana and Kayle's relationship. (They kinda hate eachother in current lore) The future scene involves a character called Yasuo (In lore he's still very much a young man) just showing his final hoorah before death as an old man by the hand of Kindred (the white arrow that hits and he accepts his death) The present involves Tryndamere, king of the north, has a big ass sword and has an ability to stave off death (Kindred, the lamb and wolf) obviously you see him fighting kindred because he's at deaths door and he refuses to die, if you refuse to die you are hunted and mauled by the wolf, if you accept death you get a swift arrow from Lamb (The white one with bow and arrow) and shows how Ashe (hot bow lady who is Tryndamere's wife) fires her arrows into the 2 enemies behind Tryndamere he's no longer at risk of dying which causes Kindred to back off (Only those close to death can see Kindred, so Ashe never saw them) Theres a fair bit Im probably missing but it's the gist of it

I know you guys are not league of legends fans as in you dont play the games or follow the lore but that comment "why dosnt he go in the trees and shoot arrows" kindred is basically death in LoL and trynadmere is undying he dosn't die, so hes fighting off death, death has no worries of hiding in a tree cause kindred wont die.

Have you guys seen the call cinematic? It was the cinematic two years before this one, and imo that one is way better(not saying this is bad)
