Pro painter and a proud member of the cult 😁 , 30 years now slinging paint, Greetings from the USA, enjoy all your vids, been brush and roll and most of my career like you had been doing but it's taking a toll candle man sprang might be the way to go just been brushing and rolling for so long that spraying is a bit intimidating, in the fact that can I do the same quality of work as I know that i I can get when i brush and roll, but seeing your videos on spraying has motivated me a bit, getting hard on the knees being on the floor cutting in Etc. You spray just the 1st coat and 2nd coat you roll everything? This is the way I do in new builds

The cost of a sprayer, tips, cordless battery sprayer etc all not cheap and the wear on the machines. It had to happen and major housebuilders now expect painters to absorb the cost sprayers etc to get a half decent wage. I remember last downturn spoke painters sites NW . crown put prices up UK approx £40 a house and builder told them they not paying it... Like it or lump it.. The painters had to swallow a bitter pill !

When it comes to touching up snagging wise thiougjh it will always flash because of different finishes ie a spray finish then a brush or roller finish,,

That's why you backroll if spraying walls.

it won't flash if you will use the same mix of paint when you sprayed and use very fine short pile mini roller if you are a sprayer than you should know this

Agents would be pulling there hair out on the sites I’ve been on with the spray on floors n stairs mark .told us to use spray shields around the skits and lining paper u see doors .dose look a lot tidier pointless in our opinion but funny some of these jobsworths on sites

How do you cut in when spraying, do you need to tape the ceiling up and spray to the line?

@@ljcooil87 probably,but if its 2 different colours than he had to cut in the top by brush which he didnt mention , he just said he sprayed all the celings walls and doors in 1 day he must be super fast painter

I was so efficient blowing in the plots,I retired when I was 44 and moved to Sunny Asia..Don't be a dick...Work smart like the Candleman! Not hard!
