Just knocked me out. When you can pull a tune of this magnitude off with just guitar and vocal, it says much in respect to melody and words of the song, but also the talent of the performance. She appears to " get it " in spades ( great phrasing ) and the guitarist puts his own spin on the changes, that suit the song so perfectly with this beautiful women's voice. Kudos ... loved every second of it.

I cannot even honestly tell you how many times I have listened to this. This was my father's favorite song. He's no longer with us but when you sing this, I think he's listening. Thank you for all of your beautiful covers. 🎶

One thing I love about you as a singer, is that you don't pick easy songs to cover. You find a lot of people will pick something that they know they can sing easily, but you, you find some pretty hard ones to cover, and not always not the most played songs. Paul Simon has always been one of my favourites and I think you have nailed this probably a bit better. But having that voice, it isn't hard to do. Stunningly gorgeous, and Snuffy is pretty awesome.

This took 7 years to reach me. It's totally worth the wait. For today, I am happy that nothing on the net ever goes away. Also, thank you Sara, just for being as you do.

Sara, you and Snuffy put your hearts and souls into the music. Absolutely beautiful. I love this song even more now.

what a pure classic tune to cover. she nailed it and i know Paul Simon would have listened to it more than once and gave a big thumbs up....

Now this happens be one of my fave Paul Simon songs. I've never heard this interpreted anywhere near as soulfully uncomplicated, as vocally pristine as you did here.

Hi everyone... I am genuinely mortified to admit I have only been "exposed" to Sara and her staggering voice/musicality in the last few weeks... Wow.... and Snuffy...... you can play dude.... you balance the beauty of your gifts with allowing the singer to sing..... that is a talent I applaud. Even if you look a bit like Joe Walsh but slightly LESS surprised when ya hit a note of perfection. Jeez Sara... what can I say that hasn't been said already... go young lady..... you have a voice, a swing, a swagger, a presence that is precious.... best of luck to ya.... Kieran.

I've been a follower of Paul Simon all my life. His music has offered me comfort through some very difficult times in my life. Your version is remarkable. You've added a layer of emotion that Paul could never achieve. I was truly touched by it. Now -- can you do American Tune! I have heard many versions and so many fail to capture the emotion of the song properly. I know you will.

Dave CGS You can never compare the artist that wrote any given song , to anyone that covers it, and make a credible comment ,like Paul not putting the emotion in it. This girl indeed has the best cover of this song I've ever heard,and I agree she puts a heartfelt emotion in and to the song . She feels it, and I'm NOT taking anything away from her performance, it's truly remarkable and I'm sure if Paul ever heard it, he too would give it a big thumbs up. I would love to hear her sing some originals, either of her own material or other unknown songwriters . She has the voice,the phrasing ,the style and certainly a degree of pulchritude.

So beautiful - best version I've heard. And I love this song.

One off favourite songs by Paul Simon you’ve put you’re own stamp on it and it’s excellent

Sometimes you're just 100%. The day is right, the time is right, and you're ready. This is what this feels like. You can ride that kinda high for years. I've been watching this video regularly for quite some time, and it never fails to put me in that mind set. Dare to say it's as inspired as the original.

Went to a concert with covers of Simon and Garfunkel last night in my hometown. That made me go back listening your performance. It has been 7 years since I heart your performance for the first time and you had me following you since then. And even after 7 years it still stands like nothing else. Love the way you tell the story and that little roughness in your voice. And I'm truly jealous at the beautiful guitar play of Snuffy; what a timing and chordplay. Since stumbling upon this video the other day, I've been thinking of what to say and how to say it. Here's about the best I could come up with: As a musician, arranger, and Paul Simon fan; this rendition of Still Crazy is…perfect. As of this moment, this video has 18,924 views. I'm sure that at least 16,500 of those have been me over the last few days! Ha! Ms. Niemietz, my hat is truly off to you. One of the most common criticisms that I have of young, talented vocalists is that they are so often unable to 'get inside' the song. They'll sing words of longing and despair with a smile, or a simple, perfect melody with inappropriate ostentation and flair. What they need is to live awhile longer and have their hearts broken and mended a few times. However. I'm absolutely amazed by how you were able to get inside this one (something that, I'm convinced, very few could hope to do) and catch every sort of existential cue. You captured the not only the lonely, melancholy bits, but also the absurd and subtle silliness, too. Not to mention, you chose just exactly the right key signature. Beautiful. Very. Very well done, indeed. I could go on, but I hate to gush so much that I sound insincere. I'm glad to have found this video and thank you for it. --- Cam
