As a swede this is amazing! Ferry Svan is the son of a ledgendary swedish crosscountry skier called Gunde Svan, whom thought through his humble attitude, to the swedish people that anything is possible if you fight for it. You can really tell where Ferry got his humble and hard working attitude form :D

Safe is a relative thing though, the mesh will help against cuts, but blunt force trauma is still a thing.

I was having a small panic attack during the springboard part. falling down from that height with an axe is very scary.

@@STIHLTIMBERSPORTS that's a good question. Maybe both if there are enough participants with maybe an overall winner for all divisions. I was just thinking that the older gentleman is very impressive but it's not really fair to him that he doesn't have the stamina as the younger competitors.

Who said the trees are wasted? You don't know what they do with them. Have you considered that the wood chippings are used for fertilizer. No you just imagine the worst case possible

We use purposely grown industrial wood for the competitions. The trees are fast growing poplar hybrids that are 100 % sustainable. The remaining wood is gathered and recycled after all competitions 👉 kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6aBzdWmj8WrccY.html
