This Rollei-HFT Tele-Tessar 4 / 135 had sticky aperture blades, the way to disassemble this lens compare to other lenses aperture system, is that you have to take out the inner part which is part of the inner focus system.
REMEMBER to set a mark where the inner helicoid get off the focus thread, because the aperture system has to sit correct when putting back in again.
Cleaning the aperture blades and aperture system with 99% Isopropylalcohol.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making this video! I had an issue with the diaphragm on a Rollei Sonnar 85mm f2.8 in m42 mount (the pin was not engaging the rest of the mechanism) and your video pointed a few things that were very useful for me, some elements of the pin and some logic for removing the front and back optical blocks are very similar with the lens you are showing here.
thank you for making this informatic tutorial, very helpful, and.....rollei mechanism feels totally different from czj or contax, I was actually stuck at the begining when I removed 3 rear scews, now getting job back to the right track. Thanks again.

How do you disassemble the front group? I have a crack in the rear element of the front group

well, I do not have the lens anymore but I would guess that there should be a retaining ring, or the back tube of the front lens group, I think it should be possible to unscrew it, also look for small set screws on the side that you maybe should loosen, and then possible unscrew the back part of the front lens group. Just some idea's.
hi! what kind of spanner wrench is that? I don't see anything like that on the net.

The spanner wrench I use at 2:03 is actually a "walking Stick" a metal compass for making circles on metal plates.
