    Thank you so much for this video. I love stickles. I use a toothpick to remove run overs. Also, I’ve found that if I squeeze out too much I can suck some back in as I release the pressure. I really appreciate your showing the pearls. I have some but I didn’t know how to use them properly but now I’ll try again. I enjoy your videos so much and have learned so much from you.

    I just recently purchased this book and was delighted to see all the tutorials you've done for it. I don't work on it all the time as I want to make it something to pass to my grandchildren so I'm just taking it slow. Your videos have given me excellent ideas for when I get to the pages you show. Thank you so much for all the tutorials. I have a lot of stickles and several of the pearls. Hadn't thought about using them in this book. My favorite color is glitter, so... Thanks again for your amazing tutorials. Blessings!

    Thanks for sharing, Claire. I've had Stickles for some years - I used them in my mixed media work - but I plan on using them in my coloring books - they look lovely!

    I love your work Claire. I’m playing catch up 🤗 I used to use what is now called stickles on tshirts over 30 years ago 😱and sell them as they used to be popular. I now have a boxful as I painted some shirts for little girls a few years ago and now I’m glad I can use them in my colouring books 🙏 for a great tutorial 😍🌹

    I have used stickles in cardmaking and scrapbooking for a long time and i have found that on things with points like stars, sometimes it is easier to put in the middle and take your tack pin and spread it around, love your page

    Thanks for sharing your video.. seeking to understand when dry, if the page after it was turned over can you colour on it or will there be bumps from the stickles?

  • @ClaireHoloway

    Kaitlyn Eves it depends how much you use. If you use really thick layers you may get a little bumping on the other side. :)

    @@ClaireHoloway how lucky to be on vacation! I hope its somewhere nice. Thank you for replying. Yes I saw the one where you colour in the stars I was wondering of there was one for the whole page. I have just received a big batch of glitter glues and I am trying to re create your page but not doing a very good job! Lol

    @@shamababes1 sorry - there’s not one for the full page but I did use the same technique throughout just with different colours. The thickness I was applying takes 24 hours to fully dry so I did the oats in around 5 stages over a week xx

    A tooth pick would work great. Or maybe even those wooden cuticle sticks (orange sticks i think they are called). Anything small and pointy that you could manipulate the glitter glue with would work!

    I'm very disappointed in Stickles. I just can't get them to flow. They're forever getting stuck in the super thin little tip.

  • @ClaireHoloway

    @ClaireHoloway

    I’ve never had any issues to be honest. I keep the tip clean with a pin and store them in a cool place. Squeeze gently and they should be thin enough to lay down easily.
