“Stick To Acting!” David Tennant BLASTED For Telling Kemi Badenoch To ‘SHUT UP’

Rishi Sunak has intervened in the spat between Kemi Badenoch and actor David Tennant, suggesting the Doctor Who star is “the problem”.
Tennant suggested at an awards show he wanted a world where the equalities minister “doesn’t exist any more”, and that she should “shut up”.
The Prime Minister said: “Freedom of speech is the most powerful feature of our democracy.
“If you’re calling for women to shut up and wishing they didn’t exist, you are the problem.”
Tennant won a prize for being a “celebrity ally” at the British LGBT Awards last week and used his speech to target the equalities minister.
Mike Graham discusses the story, along with the day’s other news, with Talk international editor Isabel Oakeshott.

He wasn't asked how much he was paid. But they are just on the same gravy train as all the other 'doctors'. Consultants will have at least three 'jobs' before they work for themselves. The NHS, where they will conduct a 'surgery' once a week, with the NHS providing 4 senior nurses to ensure the 'great man' never gets bothered by us scum patients. Then they will be working for a 'charity' like CR:UK, often on the same NHS premises. There they will be pursuing the 'research' career; that means a grand pay out from big pharma. There will also be a big healthcare chain desperate for their services, often co-sited with the NHS hospital. After those three six figure paydays, they have their own private patients, who of course have absolute priority. Who did you ever think the NHS was created for? "I had to stuff their mouths with gold" is all you need to know.

Doctors burning out working more than three days a week!!!. Try being a farmer…a small farmer with fifty cows and fifty young stock having to work seven days a week, year in year out with just his wife to help. A herd of cows apart from the physical work of milking, feeding and constantly cleaning up after them you have all the medical problems of keeping udders, teats, wombs, feet stomachs all in good order. Then you have to grow the food for them, manage the hedges, maintain the machinery that’s just a sample of the work a farmer does. You are still on duty any night a cow is having a difficult calving ….you even have to work on Christmas Day and all the other holidays through the year. Three days and burnt out ! 🥵

a doctor making one wrong decision could end a person's life or severely disable them. That's a lot of pressure to be under 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, until retirement. It's not about the physical labour, it's about the stress of having other people's health, wellbeing, and lives in your hands. Human medical needs are far more complex than most things people will come across in their day to day working lives. Imagine having to know all that medical knowledge, and piece together a person's symptoms like a puzzle to come up with a possible diagnosis? Imagine having to do that for hundreds of people, of all ages, of varying states of general health, of both genders, of all races, of all backgrounds, every singly week. That's a lot of brain power being used up in the service of others, and there's more people than ever to serve in this country - a lot of whom can't speak English.

@@StumpyFencepost well, what I just mentioned is why that legislation was opposed by many, especially those within the Gender-Critical space-- bc the lack of clarity in the language of the bill, and the way that it lumped in "gender identity" along with more traditional (i.e. actual) forms of conversion therapy that have historically been done to gay people (and which virtually no one supports, in addition to it being all but unheard of in present-day Britain). Lumping "gender identity"-- an already poorly defined and amorphous concept on its own-- in with this legislation would create situations where clinicians would be in fear of losing their licenses for not following an "affirmative model", and for first seeking to find other solutions (which don't involve medical or social transition) with a client who is experiencing distress with her body or identity; it would basically make it so that the former would constitute an attempt to "convert" a client out of his or her "gender identity".

@@janice506you should be very proud of your son that he understands what is going on with the rainbow crew. Many trans, Gay and lesbians have nothing to do with the whole pride thing as they believe it no longer speaks for them. It was become and activist group of trans people who believe they should have more rights than anyone else. The Tavistock clinic pushed gay and lesbian children into believing they were trans, along with children with Autism and those who had suffered from trauma of different types. Children should be left alone 98% of children who go through puberty and struggle with their feelings and identity come out the otherside without issue. These young people need unbias counselling to deal with their underlying issues, the do not need affirmation that they were born in the wrong body, they don't need puberty blockers which are NOT reversible and cause them great harm nor do they need irreversible surgery. I also do not think that anyone should just be able to stick on a frock and say they are a woman, they need a diagnosis and counselling before they can change their legal sex and they should not be able to change their birth certificate unless in the very rare circumstance they were born with both sets of genitalia. It is not such an issue if women change their sex but when it is men it can put women in danger. The truth is that you can not change your sex by hormones and or surgery as neither will change their DNA, men have XY chromosomes and women have XX chromosomes and that can not be changed. I wonder how these people who think it is okay for a man in a frock with a cock go into women's sports and safe spaces, would feel if it was their wife, daughter, sister, Mother, niece ect that were put in the position of having these men push them out of a sport or stripped naked and watched them in the changing rooms I bet they would sing a different tune if it affected their female loved ones.

At 4:48 Dr Eggitt is one of the typical examples of what is wrong with the NHS and part of the reason why it is broken. Having spent 27 years with the police, I have seen first hand how many warranted police officers spend in excess of 15 years behind a desk. Instead of using burn out as an excuse to avoid work and skive, do what you are paid a lot of money to do. On Tuesday and Thursday, get a member of the support team who are already paid to do this, get them to do it. What happens on Monday, Wednesday and Friday do we have another highly paid doctor doing it? As I have said before, the problem with the NHS, Police and Education is that IT IS POORLY MANAGED of MISMANAGED, these practitioners (police officer, doctors, nurses and teachers) are allowed by their managers to do other tasks. This is wrong, so wrong! We need change, we need reform!

What a load of crap in trying to defend a GP who only does that for 3 days. She said that he works really hard making life or death decisions in 5 minutes. Pure crap!!!. Perhaps 90% of his patients are there for really mediocre reasons who will happily walk away with a prescription for anything. The GP looked really uneasy when Mike pressed him and rightly so. There is no excuse for his 3 day week when he can devote the other days to non medical care.

GP’s are not making life and death decisions! If it’s a life or death situation then they’d be in A&E.

no I’m not but I could probably tell the difference between someone that’s been stabbed and someone with a chest infection! The one that’s been stabbed wouldn’t be going to see a GP! I’m just going by her words that as a GP he’s making life and death decisions all day long! I disagree.

@@Winter1x So, someone coming in to see their GP with, say, a rash on their chest, which is a symptom of breast cancer, is not making life or death decisions? Acute conditions - which GPs diagnose every day - are not presented solely in A&E.
