yes, if we're talking biologically, your right. however its not that simple, there's a mental aspect aswell. just because you are born male or female dosen't mean't that in you that in your mind. the brain is the most complex organ in the body that scientists to this day haven't fully figured out yet. it is a little more tricky when it comes to kids, but for the most part, I do agree that shouldn't have to think about that. that time should be spent discovering who they and what they want out of life, and its during that time that a lot of people realize that... they're personality or just simply themselves isn't that of the gender they were assigned at birth.
