Evo The Artist id be down with that I was locked up with him in the county for a couple weeks before I went to prison he actually remembered me from Noho skatepark when I was still skating. Sucks cause the politics in LA County jail are the way they are and I couldn’t hang with him more. I ran into him though last year and he’s doing really well he’s sober and still skating. I will always regret throwing away my skating career

To be honest, Stevie hung out with thugs and bullies in the 90’s. DGK was a real threat, I had my board jacked by one “his boys” and Stevie did nothing, we had a mutual friend who introduced us, but he acted like he never met me. Time changes people, but sometimes you get back what you put out. Much respect to Stevie for turning it around, he’s a real success story

We grew up watching Stevie. I still have Stevies autograph from when I first went to a DGK demo, he a nice solid dude. I even got a couple boards from DGK when they first came out before I went flow for a couple sponsors. I don’t fuck with nobody that badmouths Stevie because he has done a lot for skateboarding and skaters as a whole and he came from nothing like I did.

Also of course everyone used to toe/heel grab back in the day because we were skating toothpicks back then. 7.5 -7.75 was the standard.
