Met Chris Benoit in North Carolina. He was reading the Bible and looked up at me and smiled. Such a warm smile. I was working at a local arena and noticed him reading. Was not going to ask for autograph or anything. Knew who he was, but was not going to bother him while he was reading. He seemed so peaceful. He heard me gasp and that is when he looked up and smiled.

Chris Benoit may not have killed himself new evidence has appeared.Chris benoit's parents hired a private investigator not believing everything told to them by the police he uncovered a lot of inconsistencies in the case, the private investigator by doing so started receiving death threats and in weeks of completing his investigation he himself turned up dead by suicide. The investigator alleged there was a large syndicate trafficking in steroids and other drugs involving some of the wrestlers in WWE of which Benoit was involved the other four wrestlers named also met the same faith. This was one of the largest drug trafficking rings involving also bodybuilders of which some have also died mysteriously. Wrestling gave them the perfect ability to traffic drugs too many cities with wrestlers wrestling four to five times a week throughout the country. Not known if Vince McMahon himself was involved but it's alleged the clintons syndicate was somehow also involved in the drug trafficking scheme.

What did you see or where did u get that info from? I have never seen or heard of ur theory before. Chris was on the phone with Chavo when the doorbell rang and the neighbors said they saw a car in his driveway right before they were killed based on the coroner time of death and the time Chavo said he was on the phone and the neighbors saw the car at his house

@Joshua Layug Add that to the fact that his physical toll on his body finally caught up to him. Multiple concussions and brain damage he sustained throughout his career finally broke him, especially his trademark, the Flying Headbutt he would get concussions every time he uses it, when he was strictly advised not to do that Finisher anymore. Even before Eddie died, Vicky and Chavo would observe his sudden bouts of emotional episodes and growing erratic behavior and that was just when he was at work. Imagine what he was at home with his wife and kid. Eddie was the last string holding him together, and when Eddie passed on, the man finally snapped.

I'm kinda convinced at this point that, after Eddie passed away, Chris was lost. Eddie was like Chris's guidance and when you lose someone very close to you, you just don't know what to really do. And all the blows Benoit suffered to his head especially the diving headbutt cause he pretty always land head first to the ring and even if he used his hands to soften the blow, it still fucking hurts. Really is a damn shame what happened after Guerrero left us cause I feel, the tragedy that happened could have been avoided if Chris had Eddie to talk to

It’s truly awful and just tragic. What happened to Chris was basically the culmination of pretty much everything that was wrong with the business at the time and some of his personal life mixed into it as well. The crazy work schedule, the pressure of the company trusting you to do something, the CTE he was getting from doing what he loved with the medical care not being able to see it, the drugs that he had to take to make sure he was keeping up with the work he was doing, and the many deaths that nobody could expect. If none of his friends had died, he wouldn’t have done it. I wouldn’t say that I have any sympathy for Benoit because I know he deserves to be treated in awful way since it’s still a terrible thing he did but it’s a thing that really shouldn’t have happened and it could’ve been avoided. The deaths not happening probably would’ve been enough to keep him from doing what he did. The untimely deaths was something that Chris or anybody wouldn’t expect when they decide to go into the business. It wasn’t that known until the time of his death. I don’t think it was just the CTE or one thing but rather a combination of so many things.

They had an area they had closed off for athletes (I assume Reds and Bengals players). I asked our waitress if she could ask him if I could get his autograph, she came back and said he said sure. I went back and he talked to me for about 10 minutes, shook my hand got an autograph, he was telling me how he was going to be wrestling Eddie when he recovered from an injury. The two impressions I got from him, was how nice of a guy he seemed, and just how strong he was.

Usually someone who is very happy and you never see frustration on his face is because his personal life is hell. The only reason I say that is because that's what I've been like. No one ever knew at work the stress I had raising a non verbal severely autistic son and a average son along with a step daughter that was ten when I met her and I was 24 and raised her to adulthood while going through a rough marriage and also infidelity. My job was where I had peace so I didn't want to bring that to work and it caused me to snap I didn't kill anyone but I hurt and caused emotional scars I wish I didn't hide it and would of talked to someone before I messed up the way I did

I've always been a wrestling fan & now that I'm in my mid 50's raised a family worked a career job home every night I look back at all these guys who's job was to entertain us & I now have the upmost respect for them especially the ones who also had family's waiting back at home while they were constantly on the road & going town to town missing out on the family life. Of course some made a lot of money but what they missed out on was a lot more valuable. So I say thank you for my selfishness to entertain me.

Looking through all the stories about how he was actually like it seems he was about strict regiments and self-control and that he reached out to try to help wrestlers he saw having trouble with one of those two things. From Stevie Ray having trouble keeping his cool to Paul London & Kendrick having trouble with diet & workouts (in his mind).

A lot of wrestlers say that they can’t imagine Benoit doing what he did, but he was guilty of domestic abuse before he committed the murder, plus the murders themselves were not acts of blind rage, Nancy was tied up and then he put his knee in her back whilst pulling a noose as hard as her could around her neck, this took a level of planning, then hours later he decided to go and smoother his son, after sedating him, again, this took a measure of planning. I am not saying that he was sound of mind when this happened, but it doesn’t look like this was spur of the moment event. It’s obvious that Benoit needed help, he was addicted to substances and had mental health issues, continuing to wrestle didn’t help matters.

About Benoit always been happy and never showing any signs I've got a similar story. A former boss of mine who was a few years younger had a young wife late 20s and a new norn daughter. His wife got breast cancer and had a 1 removed. After 2 years fighting it she cancer was in remission. He never showed any signs of breaking or anything. Always happy and joking. 2 years later after I'd left I got a call 1night he'd hung himself in the bush. Told his last living brother he was going to the toilet and would be back soon. Found out later his older brother and father had committed suicide and every year on his father's birthday he'd try to end his life. I was in shock this guy never showed any signs of anything mentally to say he was a danger to himself.

This is one of many stories I’ve heard over the years of what a good guy Chris really was. Clearly, he was a good dude and meant well...and sadly his life took an awful, ugly turn that he probably never saw coming. The whole story, every aspect of it, is just so horrible for all involved. Unfortunately, none of us will ever really know what happened or how things got to where they did.

I’m huge Benoit fan but it all points to him and there is no real proof that anybody else did it except him. Unless Daniel somehow took down a 43 year old Nancy and Chris killed Daniel before killing himself, I highly doubt anybody else did it except for Chris.
