This and "Edge Of Seventeen" were her two big solo hits! Duet with Don Henley and duet with Tom Petty are also terrific!

Stevie Nicks practices dancing in her time away from music. I remember asking her on lare documentary called Night Flight that showed her passion for ballet and other types of dancing she practiced to center herself. It also helped her work on her stage presence. For this song she talks about how Pronce came into the studio and laid down the piano track for this song and just left. Just Prince being mysterious as usual.

What makes this reaction even more perfect is it is a recording from Solid Gold! So 80's!

Great reaction kids!!! Fun Fact: When Stevie Nicks was in studio recording this song, she felt something was missing. It turned out Prince (Yes, THAT PRINCE) was also in the studio facility. Prince came in and in less than 10 minutes, he placed the synthesizer background music into this song. I also just subscribed to your channel....

That guy is a friend of Stevie’s who is a dancer. He was also in the video to this song. He was there to dance with her…that show was The Solid Gold Show which had dancers dancing to the top 40 hits at the time.

I love that "Solid Gold" clip. That album came out when I was 19 and i saw her live for my 20th birthday, she was great. The guy was a professional dancer who was in her video who would tour with her and basically just dance with her during that song, as you know a lot of her songs weren't dance songs, but some were.

Written by Stevie Nicks and the late Prince 🤴, RIP. In the studio, Steve Lukather played lead guitar 🎸 In the same year, he played the solo for The Tubes in She's a Beauty. SL played for many other musicians. This had live vocals from Stevie Nicks and her sister. Proof: different arrangement.

Listen to the subtle undertones of synthesizers, you will hear a hint of Little Red Corvette by Prince. Stevie heard little red corvette, and asked Prince if she could use that part in this song, and Prince came to the studio to record the part with her.

The guy dancer name is Brad Jeffries and back then during tours and live shows promoting Stand Back he would come out and do his part, oh and he was in the official music video as the leading man, also there was a Scarlett Version of Stand Back that didn't sit well and the redid it... I like them both but the official version video was way better..

I don't know why the host called it a classic. The song wasn't even a year old when this show aired! Also, that guy traveled with Stevie for like 4 years AND only showed up on stage to dance that little part in that one song! He wasn't part of the band far as I know.
